President Donald Trump launched yet another attack on the Washington Post on Sunday morning, accusing the paper of "Presidential harassment!" for reporting on the fall-out from his racist tweets and his equally racist rally in North Carolina.
So not only are you unpatriotic if you don't support him 100%, now you're harassing him if you try to inform the public about events that actually happened.
This is their Bobby Fischer of politics? He could be pulling a Pelosi annnnnny moment now.. "The Democrats are failing each other, I'm pointing out their hatred working together for America." etc.
@#2 ... So not only are you unpatriotic if you don't support him 100%, now you're harassing him if you try to inform the public about events that actually happened. ...
I correspond with people in Great Britain..Canada..several places in Europe, Australia and a lady in Japan. I have purposely fostered these contacts with people who occupy the entire political spectrum, expressly to get a real time take on the news. it's an across the board feeling that trump is an extremely ignorant fella and that he personifies what most people feel americans are like. pushy and entitled, privileged and unappreciative. the leftists don't like him for the obvious reasons and the far right see him as weak and duplicitous.
Presidential harassment does exist. When Trump tells lies about 4 freshmen Congresswomen, that's presidential harassment.
#7 Trump personifies the Ugly American meme:
"Ugly American" is a term used to refer to perceptions of loud, arrogant, demeaning, thoughtless, ignorant, and ethnocentric behavior of American citizens mainly abroad, but also at home.
@#9 ... Presidential harassment does exist. When Trump tells lies about 4 freshmen Congresswomen, that's presidential harassment. ...
Aside from your comment saying that something does not exist, and then saying it does exist. I do agree with your second phrase...
When Trump tells lies about 4 freshmen Congresswomen, that's presidential harassment.
Very significant agreement.
"Ugly American" is a term used to refer to perceptions of loud, arrogant, demeaning, thoughtless, ignorant, and ethnocentric behavior of American citizens mainly abroad...
And then there was his calculator...
@#7 ... it's an across the board feeling that trump is an extremely ignorant fella ...
So the British diplomat was not far off in what he reported.
btw, I hear similar opinions from the non-US people I talk with.
Pres Trump is abdicating the former leadership position held by the United States.

de rigueur reading for beatniks and proto hippies.
blatant american propaganda
anybody seen the movie with marlon brando?
@#13 ... Pres Trump is abdicating the former leadership position held by the United States. ...
btw, the problem I see with this is that China has often stated hat they are more than willing to fill any voids left behind as Pres trump takes the United States away from its leadership position on the world stage.

i got a couple of buddies in australia and they just shake their heads ...these guys came to the states to race karts and attend cleveland chiropractic college in kansas city...which at the time was right down the street from the motorcycle shop I raced out of, circa '67 '68..lots of viet nam induced social disruption that they were here to see and as a result they've always had an insight and opinion about our politics
and they say that trump supporters are absolutely white..1st and foremost and are in complete agreement with trump and their argument is...regardless of what is said, every adult knows exactly what's going on.
@#18 ... Trump is the best that NYC has to offer. FACT! ...
Oh you silly goose.
It is Republicans who thought that Pres Trump was presidential material.
If you had asked the people of NYC what they thought of that... well I'd suspect you'd see a whole bunch of
---- -- - - ----
- - - ----------
what the f--- are you thinking?!?!?!?
-- -- ----- - - ------
But I have to ask, why are you trying to pin Pres Trump on the good people of NYC?
They rejected him.
It is the Republican Party that embraced him.
It is quite interesting that you seem to want to disassociate yourself from Pres Trump, trying to blame NYC.
Presumably Trump does not understand that the phrase "Presidential Harassment!" has two possible meanings, including "harassment committed by the president".
Arguably, in terms of grammar, this second meaning is in fact the main one. Like in "presidential malfeasance" or "presidential oratory".
"If you had asked the people of NYC what they thought of that... "
We tried to tell them. Just like we're trying to tell them about DeBlasio. This time people seem to be paying attention for some reason.
The orange sloth isn't just a cry baby racist pig, he is also a serial rapist and should by put on a national sexual offender list. Better yet imprisoned for rape and fraud.

Friends of mine in Europe said this about little Bush:
"His election was one thing. Reelecting him, after all everyone knew, made America look bad."
When you've been able to live your whole life without accountability, any accountability feels like harassment.
Trump is the best that NYC has to offer. FACT!

Sheep4trump is a russian loser who lacked the ability to get a real job. Fact.
As president of our country, and commander in chief of our military, I accept that people are going to call me awful things every day, and I will always defend their right to do so.I think this pretty much says it all for most if not all POTUS' before 45. The man resembles exactly what he said he likes to grab.
Americans have fought and died around the globe to protect the right of all people to express their views even views that we profoundly disagree with. We do so not because we support hateful speech, but because our founders understood that without such protections, the capacity of each individual to express their own views and practice their own faith may be threatened. ...
