Can Beto even afford the plane ticket and hotel?

Even if he books it through Kayak, it's still going to run over $500.

He's going to borrow some cash from Marianne Williamson.

Actually, no, but with the constant race-baiting that has characterized the past several days, probably fitting that you added the third K word.

Only after she makes her call to the New Zealand Prime Minister.

WTF is wrong with her?

#6 | Posted by Rightocenter at 2019-07-19 05:54 PM

#1 Ted, that was 4 years ago. Let it go. He made fun of your wife and won. You can forget about 2016 now.

#7 | Posted by IndianaJones at 2019-07-19 06:25 PM

I have a hard time believing that this was through some blind draw process, since it is very convenient that Warren is with Sanders on night 1 and Harris is with Biden and Gabbard on night 2.

#8 | Posted by leftcoastlawyer at 2019-07-19 06:42 PM

Don't trust the DNC.

Even more corrupt than the RNC.

Come on Vizzindy, if you are going to troll, at least put a little effort into it.

Even Aborted Moron would be embarrassed by how lame that was.

- I have a hard time believing that this was through some blind draw process

The DNC doesn't blind draw anything.

#11 | Posted by SheepleSchism at 2019-07-19 06:51 PM

#11,

The DNC already know who they want to put up against Trump, just like they ------ over Bernie and gave us Clinton. And lost. Which they will do again if they don't learn from past mistakes.

#12 | Posted by boaz at 2019-07-20 08:32 AM

Good to see Gov. Steve Bullock of Montana make the list.

On the other hand, who is seriously answering Williamson in these polls? Trolls?

#13 | Posted by GOnoles92 at 2019-07-20 01:46 PM

They should let the Socialist Squad moderate.

#14 | Posted by nullifidian at 2019-07-21 12:41 PM

Matt Taibbi sums it up perfectly ...

CNN's Debate Lottery Draw Is a New Low in Campaign Media
www.rollingstone.com

If you cover elections like reality shows, you will get reality stars as leaders

No one on CNN should be allowed to complain about Donald Trump again.

If you have a billion-dollar communications business that dumbs down politics for money, you can't turn around later and cry about having a dumb president.

But put commercial media executives who have to make a certain profit number on the job of covering politics, and they can't help but make a mess of it.

As citizens, most people want peace and stability.

As media consumers, they want confrontation, violence, and endless reels of idiots falling into mud puddles or wanking farm animals.

Is it really such a surprise our politics are as dumb as they are?

I won't be watching.

#15 | Posted by PinchALoaf at 2019-07-21 12:56 PM

Make it a game show and let Alex Trebek moderate.

#16 | Posted by nullifidian at 2019-07-21 01:05 PM

Make it a game show and let Alex Trebek moderate.

Bring Morgan Fairchild ... and her ... big ... poofy ... late 70s / early 80s ... blond hair, and I might watch ...

#17 | Posted by PinchALoaf at 2019-07-21 01:14 PM

This is a stupid way to hold debates. Nobody wants to watch this mish-mash.

#18 | Posted by moder8 at 2019-07-21 01:53 PM

Our rwingers here would like to pretend that any one of these candidates is not only a better person than Donald Trump, but would make a better President than he.

Because really, other than admitting that fact, it's all they can do.

#19 | Posted by Corky at 2019-07-21 04:05 PM

So are we pretending, sincere, pretending to be sincere or sincerely pretending when we say we like a certain Democratic candidate, Dorkus?

Please elucidate so that we know which position you are going to assign us whether we hold it or not.

Thanks in advance!

Watching the video of him in the 80's he seems like the same douchebag.

He is a Russian mob-connected reality television star, I'm surprised they aren't grooming one of their Fox anchors as his VP.

The nation is filled with people who follow. Life-long Republican voters, even though they make the lowest percentile economically. Never learning what is most useful to themselves about politics - that would show disrespect for the status quo. They are people cowed intellectually and made to feel they belong; are "pulling their weight" by remaining belligerent, loud and uninformed.

Trump is no different from them. He is taking orders from something that does not have his voters best interests at heart, only using them for obedience training.

On topic - the MSM is not basing their lineups on which people have the most support.

#21 | Posted by redlightrobot at 2019-07-21 05:33 PM

- Please elucidate

You are so busy pretending that Trump is anyone else but Your Party's Fault that you saying you "like" some Dem candidate is pretty meaningless.

- I'm surprised they aren't grooming one of their Fox anchors as his VP.

They aren't?

#22 | Posted by Corky at 2019-07-21 06:11 PM

- pretending that Trump is anyone else but Your Party's Fault

The RNC couldn't produce a candidate that could beat him in the primary.

Likewise,

The DNC couldn't produce a candidate that could beat him in the general.

Eat your cake.

#23 | Posted by SheepleSchism at 2019-07-21 06:19 PM

#22

So you are settling on "pretending to be sincere" to falsely assign to others?

Got it.

#24 | Posted by Rightocenter at 2019-07-21 06:28 PM

Will CNN give the questions to the person they want to win again, or do they not know who the DNC wants? Note in 08 I voted for Hillary in the Primary's. I did not want Obama (empty suit) to win. I also did not want to vote for McCain. In the end, voted for McCain and then took a shower to get the stink off of me.

#24

More meaninglessness.

#26 | Posted by Corky at 2019-07-22 12:51 AM

This debate is meaningless. It's a contest to see who can look the least stupid for a few hours. Just vote and get it over with so whoever comes out on top can go ahead and begin the traditional Democrat move back to the center.

He's ranked 7th among 21 candidates in fundraising, but you being dumb enough to get duped by MSM narratives is noted.

He lost the general election by 3,000,000 votes.

#29 | Posted by Nixon at 2019-07-22 10:44 AM

That's not how you measure who won that election.

#30 | Posted by sitzkrieg at 2019-07-22 03:33 PM

Morgan Fairchild ? You must mean Patsy Ann McClenny... she's 69...

Nope, even my Wurlitzer isn't seeing it... they may not be much but even I still have some standards.

Sharon Stone would be a better choice. She just had a massive stroke and can't run away very fast. About par with the democratic candidates who can't run at all...

Now that I'll watch... worth a few pity claps.

#31 | Posted by Pegasus at 2019-07-22 06:27 PM

It clearly struck a nerve, Ted.

#32 | Posted by IndianaJones at 2019-07-23 06:43 PM

Wow Vizzindy, it only took you 3 days, 23 hours and 59 minutes to come up with that zinger?

Inconceivable!
