The Kansas Republican Party has voted to "oppose all efforts to validate transgender identity." The party's state committee endorsed that statement on Saturday and also said it recognizes the dignity of those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender. The committee approved a resolution on human sexuality after a debate where some questioned the state party's priorities. The lead proponent of the resolution said he was motivated by love.
Conservative Christians at their "finest"
Create a little hate and call it love.

It's the Conservative Christian way.
"This is a cheap election year attack by Sam Brownback's son-in-law, and yet another attempt to dehumanize those who do not fit inside the narrow world view of Brownback, his family, and his wing of the Republican party," Equality Kansas director Tom Witt said in a statement."
Remind folks that this guy is Brownback's Son-in-law and you may be able to defeat this.
One 'Dick move' after the other. The Gop obsession with hurting people is pathological. So are the voters who empower them.
In the resolution, the party affirms "God's design for gender as determined by biological sex and not by self-perception."
Sure, pin this on "God" instead of taking responsibility like most adults.
I'm sorry Laura, these people are r3tards.

Careful, Righto. Wouldn't want anyone to mistake you for an SJW.
One of the reasons I left church is the hypocrisy of the love, grace, and mercy message vs. their judgmental actions not aligning.
Church people can be very cruel and hateful, and it was God who led me out of organized religion...
and on to a path of following Him.
The State should not legislate or even recognize 'gender'. There should be a biological sex for classification for anything that the state actually needs to regulate such as which prison you go to if you commit a crime or which sports team you are allowed to participate on. The notion of gender is truly a social construct so it you can state whatever you want. For me personally, as it is a social construct, I just refuse to recognize it at all. I don't really care if you 'feel' like a man or woman or who you have sex with as long as they are legally able to consent. So, if you were born with a penis and you decide to chop it off, that does not make you a female, that makes you a castrated male as it does not change your DNA and the same vice versa.
The less the State interjects themselves into defining language (like marriage or gender), the better off we all are. So while I support you in stopping any actual state sponsored discrimination, I refuse to play your little gender game (and the state should not force me to play it).
Is this a campaign document? Does this have the force of law? Regardless, it seems pretty stupid to me.
