Enterprise Holdings, which operates three major rental car companies, has dropped its partnership with NRA. The company offered discounts to card carrying members of the NRA. The First National Bank of Omaha has also announced it will stop issuing an NRA Visa Card. The announcements come after a teenager used an assault rifle to kill 17 students at a Florida high school last week. Think Progress has gathered a list of companies that support the NRA.
So, how is the NRA responsible for any shooting? They are just about the only organization that pushes gun safety and proper gun handling. How come no one blames the trigger puller?
Have any of these companies pulled association with any company that makes cars? 40,000 death a year must be an acceptable death toll. Kids are included in that number.
Wonder if the bank uses armed security guards? They may even be NRA carrying members?
Imagine if guard companies told the banks that they won't offer services to them.
NRA needs to be considered public enemy number one. They are directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people caught in mass shootings with weapons that the NRA demands be available for sale to every moron with the cash to buy one. It's only about the profits of the gun manufacturers, the deaths of people's family members isn't even part of the equation. Wayne LaPierre is beneath contempt.

Cars are not purposefully designed to kill. Guns are.
Of course, someone who is so stupid that he believes that someone with an IQ of 45 is smart wouldn't know that.
I am fine with people owning guns. just not just not warfare tools for the general public.
You want a shot gun, great. You want an automatic rifle, sorry, nope. They were outlawed one and can be again.
The US outlawed machine guns in the 1930's due to use by mobsters. We can do it again now with automatic weapons.

Seriously? Let me start by saying I am essentially a lifetime gun owner (I have said that several times here). So know I am not an anti-gun fanatic. However, I don't own any Assault Rifle style weapons or Handguns.
Back when the NRA started it had a purpose other than it's purpose today. That started to change I believe in the 80s - maybe earlier. That said the gun culture in America has changed. It is virulent and militant today and getting worse year after year. People don't talk about hunting rifles anymore they talk about their ARs and Handguns. The NRA is to blame for all of that. Doubt that? Just look at their ads from last year to really see it. I quit the NRA after Columbine. I have come to despise the NRA. It doesn't stand for citizens and the second amendment. They are the mouthpiece for gun makers period.

It was May 21, 1977:
"So, how is the NRA responsible for any shooting? They are just about the only organization that pushes gun safety and proper gun handling. "
Low hanging fruit with no consequences.
You really should get off this kick about cars killing 40,000 people. They are modes of transportation ~ not machines designed strictly for killing.
Your credibility is at stake. Your plonks are reaching Tosser/Rigel territory. Please stop with the ridiculous deflections. I don't care how much you're getting paid, it isn't worth it.
They are just about the only organization that pushes gun safety and proper gun handling.

You should take a look at their website, Twitter feed, Facebook page, videos and ads. You're thinking about the old NRA.
WTF does that mean tor? You guys don't agree with me? I am not surprised that your far left opinions don't agree with my middle of the road stance. I thought you libs loved free speech and wanted to hear other people's views but sadly I am learning different. You are a bunch of closed minded bigots.

HA! HAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Let me put it this way. If a road ran beside the ocean, your 'middle of the road' would be out in the maritime shipping lanes. However, whatever you consider yourself, folks on here consider you a extreme right wing nutjob.
I haven't plonked you because i don't plonk anyone. I am an optimist and think that anyone can be redeemed.
People do not join the NRA for the discounts [that's just icing on the cake]. Example: Since my wife drives about 50k miles a year on her job so we carry AA Plus for her for what it does; any discounts they offer are not the reason for joining. NRA members will be steadfast in their membership regardless of losing some discounts, just as my wife would continue to have AAA even if all their discounts were discontinued.
