Couple arrested for incest after having child

A 42-year-old North Carolina man and his 20-year-old daughter have been arrested on incest charges after having a love child last year -- and reportedly getting married. They have also been charged with adultery and contributing to delinquency. The station reported that the father gave up his daughter for adoption when she was an infant. They reunited in 2016 when she tracked him down through social media. The maximum sentence for the incest charge is 10 years in prison.

The problem is the coastal liberal elites do not understand southerners and rural folks needs or respect their Alabama values

#1, they were living in Viginia and got married in Maryland. So much for your bigoted slur.

"they were living in Viginia and got married in Maryland"

Virginia was the capitol of the confederacy, fool. are you saying they aren't part of the south?

Virginia is an east coast swing state bordering DC and Maryland. It's nowhere close to Alabama, geographically or politically. Furthermore this sort of relationship happens just as often in states with no connection to the confederate soldiers who are still fighting in your head, zombie, zombie...

Don't tell Virginians. They still have the "Shotgun Wedding" law on their books, where it allows you to legally marry folks on your property. The reason they went to Maryland to get married is that you can do it in one day there.
This certainly is icky, but it shouldn't be illegal. I believe she was 18 when they met.

Virginia was part of the South in the Civil War and is south of the Mason-Dixon Line. It has been considered part of the cultural South for centuries and has over 200 Confederate statues and other memorials.

When in your mind did Virginia move from the South to another region? This would come as news to a lot of Virginians.

So do you think Maryland and Delaware deserve to be lumped in with the deep south and "Alabama values"?

#8 | Posted by sentinel at 2018-02-08 05:09 PM

Eastern Shore, sure.

What kind of farm is more redneck, chicken or tobacco?

"Virginia is an east coast swing state bordering DC and Maryland."

You "forgot" the redneck states of West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and North Carolina, you stupid redneck.

I'm frankly surprised their actions aren't being lionized by the far left......far right is already looking the other way.

Gee, which states did Virginia vote with in the past three presidential elections? (Hint: it wasn't with the deep south.)

I guess the geniuses in the prog movement think they don't need Virginia to win elections.

But anyway, back to marriage equality and the decriminalizing of consensual adult behavior...

The past three presidential elections (2008, 2012 and 2016)?

North Carolina voted the same as Virginia in 2008.

Neither. The most redneck are Peanut farms in South Georgia.Fine people.

I've hauled tons and tons of peanuts out of south Georgia. And what was always the the destination, well of course, where else? Hershey, Pennsylvania.

I agree, this is very creepy to say the least, but illegal? They were consenting adults.

And I didn't know you could still be charged for adultery in this day and age.

Virginia is definitely a southern state.

I am from Virginia. I used to think the rebel flag was cool because it meant I was a rebel (without a clue).

But, then I got a clue.

It took me years to finally lose my southern accent. It only takes a few days back home for it to come back.

I dare you to go into any bar in Winchester, VA and tell them they are not a southern state.

Make sure your health/life insurance is paid up.

Also if you're in Winchester visit the Delicias Mexicanas Cafe.

You can tell a good Mexican place when all the other customers are two brown guys that showed up in a work truck.
