Repub Candidate Makes Vulgar Post About Female Judge

Days later a social media post from State Senate Candidate Mike Saari from Commerce Township has sparked an ugly exchange on Facebook. The post reads, "Judge was wrong for her personal vocal opinions on record that should be a crime against jurisprudence itself. Lastly what do you think this feminazi judge would say if her husband asked for [bleep]." What we've blanked was a slang reference to a sex act. We asked Saari about it. He wouldn't say sorry, instead calling out the judge for a lack of judicial appropriateness, even saying she took things too far, putting the victims in a potentially worse spot.

Comments

"Lastly what do you think this feminazi judge would say if her husband asked for a BJ" is what the sick **** posted.

This is YOUR republican party.

Deplorable (TM).

"this feminazi judge"

She's a femizani... because she oversaw the sentencing, not even the prosecution, of one of the most prolific child abusers in history?

No, she's a feminzai because any woman using her power to punish a man -- even a guilty one -- is an existential threat to the fragile, toxic male ego that is the hallmark of being a right-winger these days.

It's why they hate Hillary Clinton so much. An empowered woman is terrifying to them.

Yep. Grown women are frightening things to little boys.

ohhh just a coincidence this thing happened under a Trump presidency, right?

#5 | Posted by e1g1 at 2018-02-04 10:34 PM

Interesting that many of the same people banging on in this thread are the same ones feigning ignorance in another one on the back page about a clear vulgar depiction of a sex act.

Also interesting the summary of the article doesn't give a clue wtf the context is (which is far more damning than just saying some guy used the initials BJ).

#6 | Posted by sentinel at 2018-02-04 11:04 PM

Sentinel claims to be unsure of the meaning of BJ, but is certain sniffing farts is a sex act.
This sort of confusion is why sex ed is necessary for wing dings.

#9 | Posted by BruceBanner at 2018-02-05 12:03 AM

"Dude needs to resign."

At the very least he needs to stand up and say "I'm Saari. I'm so Saari."

#10 | Posted by sentinel at 2018-02-05 12:46 AM

Hmmm.
--Siding with a serial pederast
--Openly insulting an elected judge

This dork probably lost his mother's vote and certainly made no friends politically--maybe that's why he dropped out of the race. I hope as a 'business owner' he exercises better judgment than that which he demonstrated here...

#11 | Posted by catdog at 2018-02-05 08:27 AM

Well, his intentions are in the right place; he just forgot that half the country is full of delicate minds who can't separate an intention from a word. If your house is on fire and you don't know it, and someone comes to your door and says "Hey -------, your house is on fire!"...you don't start arguing with the guy because he's a dumbass. You go take care of the fire. Well, at least the people who aren't delicate snowflakes would do that. The rest, well, have fun fighting a fire with feels.

Why are you lying that he is a republican?

15th district of Michigan, Saari was a "fringe candidate," Deadline Detroit reported. On Facebook, he stated that he was in favor of tuition-free community college and a part-time legislature, referring to himself as the "candidate who cares." He was against police unions, gerrymandering and the selling of plastic straws, WWJ reported.

Here's another article which shows you to be a liar. I'm not sure why all these facts are out to get you.
Michael Saari was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 39 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

I guess if you can't be proud of your own folks, pretending they are Republicans is a great 2nd plan, right?

#13 | Posted by Avigdore at 2018-02-05 12:46 PM

He went too far with the use of the word, "feminazi". Other than that, his criticisms of this judge are not unreasonable. The DR back page had a thread about her closing remarks in the Nasser case.

"State Senate candidate Michael Saari is abandoning his campaign after stirring controversy by criticizing the judge in the Larry Nassar sexual abuse case and labelling her a "feminazi." The Republican from Commerce Township's comments on social media went viral earlier this week."

"Other than that, his criticisms of this judge are not unreasonable. The DR back page had a thread about her closing remarks in the Nasser case."

You're out of your mind, and that thread was full of ridiculous criticisms, mostly from people who didn't even understand it was a sentencing hearing, not a trial.

The idea that a judge can't voice personal opinions is asinine. It's commonplace for judges to tell convicts that their crimes are heinous.

#20 | Posted by snoofy at 2018-02-05 01:27 PM

Well, since there is information out there calling him both a Republican and a Democrat, I hereby withdraw my statement that MrSilenceDogood was lying. I apologize if I was the one who made the error.

#21 | Posted by Avigdore at 2018-02-05 01:39 PM

Well, since there is information out there calling him both a Republican and a Democrat,

Which is pathetic, unless he switched parties.

When he got crushed in the '14 primary, he ran as a Democrat.

If he didn't switch parties I wonder why a number of media outlets are calling him a Republican.

#22 | Posted by JeffJ at 2018-02-05 01:43 PM

There is a now deleted posting from the Genesee County Democratic party facebook page that you can only access by looking at the cached file in google search that promotes the Elect Mike Saari web-page.

Because it fits their narrative, as amply supported by Indy's #18

The best source to clear this up is the Michigan Sec State Website, here are the 39th District listings for 2014:

I am surprised by the number of media outlets labeling this guy a Republican. He ran as a Democrat in '14. Did they not bother to check his party affiliation and just run with the GOP, or did they check and deliberately lie about it? My guess is the former as laziness and bias is more likely than willful deception.

Now that you know he's a Democrat are you going to try to disparage the entire Democratic Party via guilt by association to this guy like you did to the GOP in your first post when you were misinformed?

Why would he possibly do that...confirmation bias at its finest.

Now I am waiting for Indy to start accusing the two of us of "flinging ---- as usual", which is his "go to" move when proven wrong.

FTA:

Saari, a Canton Township Republican who was running for the state Senate seat now held by Republican Mike Kowall, called Nassar's judge a "feminazi" after she took the sexual predator to task for molesting at least 156 young girls. She sentenced Nassar to up to 175 years behind bars, and said gleefully she was signing the doctor's death warrant.

Meet Michael Saari. A former Republican candidate for State Senate in Michigan. I say "former" because he was forced to drop drop out yesterday after he called Judge Rosemarie Aquilina (the judge that sentenced pedophile Larry Nassar) a "feminazi" for being mean:

I did no such thing. I was calling you out for playing an insipid guilt-by-association game of the remarks of a fringe candidate who in his only political contest, a Dem primary, he got less than 10% of the vote.

That's what a normal person would expect to happen to a self described "conservative republicans" in a Democratic primary.

And you didn't spell "I was making a fool out of myself by calling you a liar."

I didn't call you a liar. Scroll up and you'll see that it was a different poster who called you a liar and then later apologized when he saw that he was being labeled both a Democrat and a Republican, depending on the source.
