Florida Goodwill Finds Grenade Launcher in Donations

Goodwill employees discovered a grenade launcher, loaded with a live grenade, this past weekend in a load of items donated at a Bradenton store, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. On Sunday, deputies were called out to the Goodwill Manasota Bargain Barn, 7501 15th St. E., after employees discovered a grenade launcher with a grenade inside it, according to an incident report. Deputies say they properly disposed of the active grenade by placing it in a Hazmat locker at the sheriff's office District One office.

Gotta be glad you're not the property clerk who has a desk next to the Hazmat locker.

You can get a new grenade launcher for $330. They don't require background checks.

Who would waste a perfectly good grenade?

Think of all the cool stuff you could have blown up!

I'd be more afraid of the live grenade than the thing that launches it, personally.

Praise the Lord. Now an underprivileged family can enjoy a grenade launcher, just like the rich folks do.

That's so some mother with horrible kids can feed them dinner so she doesn't have to mess with them. Fill it with food aim and fire.

Some lucky poor family in Florida will now be able to buy the grenade launcher of their dreams because of this act of kindness. No family should have to live without a grenade launcher.

Turns out that launcher was just a toy AirSoft replica.
