White House Doctor Says He's Not Nuts

President Donald Trump asked the White House doctor to perform a cognitive exam during his physical last week, despite the doctor's determination that such testing wasn't necessary. "I have no concerns about his cognitive ability," Dr. Ronny Jackson told reporters on Tuesday. He said the testing was conducted at the President's wishes, and the results were normal. Ahead of the exam, the White House said that tests for mental acuity would not be included. The question arose after a week of speculation about Trump's mental fitness for office, spurred by the publication of a damaging book that suggested Trump's own aides worry about his stability.

Jackson told reporters Trump scored 30/30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, which according to its website is a "cognitive screening test designed to assist Health Professionals in the detection of mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease."

Stability is a concept with several features. People continue to be right to worry about Trump's mental health. There are gaps in it you could drive a train through.

do people really think trump got 30 out of 30 on this test?

I, for one, am pleased that all Americans can be assured that our president, Donald J Trump, is a marvelously* healthy individual.

#4 | POSTED BY GONOLES92

Media? The media hound him because Congress and his own aides are hounding him. Keep in mind, the "cognitive test" was not part of the normal physical exam for POTUS. Trump specifically requested this checkup to throw it in everyone's faces that he's "Perfectly cognitive."

It's not the media. It's Trump and solely Trump pushing this. It's called projection.

Most people shrink a little in height as they get older but not Trump:

Maggie Haberman‏ @maggieNYT

Reminder that earlier physicals decades ago put Trump height at 6'2". The 6'3" height makes a difference on his BMI from overweight to obese
1:34 PM - 16 Jan 2018

Others are pointing out that photos of Trump standing next to Ryan or Obama, who are both 6'1", or Jeb Bush, who is 6'3", tell the real story.

#16 | Posted by Gal_Tuesday at 2018-01-16 10:14 PM

So.... he got taller while his hands were shrinking?

#17 | Posted by Corky at 2018-01-16 10:54 PM

Just looked that up gal. He's definitely less than 6 1

#18 | Posted by BruceBanner at 2018-01-16 10:55 PM

I'd say he looks about as tall as Obama given the pictures I saw.

So 6'1" seems a decent guess.

But there's no way he's only 236 lbs. I"m 6'4", 215lb and he's a much fatter bastard than 20 lbs more than me.

In any case, I was listening to Hannity fawn all over the good doctors little speech tonight. The clips from the doctor's statement sounded so scripted I have to wonder if they kidnapped his daughter and held her at gunpoint unless he said nice things about Trump.

I am 5'10" 210 lbs. I read too much, but I guarantee you the only way Trump is 239 is if he is near total fat.

#27 | Posted by BruceBanner at 2018-01-17 10:05 AM

#27 which means his cardiac health can't be as immaculate as the doctor claims regardless of how little he drank or smoked.

Sure thing sycophant. Keep ignoring reality that's right before your eyes.

Trump's NY state driver's license has him at 6'2:

How tall is Donald Trump? Driver's license raises questions

If he's 6'2" and slouching, that could make him look 6'1". I don't believe he is 6'3" and slouching down 2 inches. If he was, that could be a medical problem in itself. Does he have scolios? Very weak stomach and/or back muscles? How big is his gut?

Do any of you believe that Pelosi, Ginsburg, Waters or Jackson-Lee would receive a perfect score on this evaluation?

#43 | Posted by sawdust at 2018-01-17 04:28 PM

I have my concerns about Pelosi, but I've seen nothing to suggest the other 3 women aren't in full possession of their mental faculties, especially Ginsburg.

Pelosi has had some moments over the past 6 months that could be construed as her mind is starting to slip. I hope not, but sometimes the camera doesn't lie. She sometimes seems confused.

How about the Speaker of the House? Dementia OK there?

A Speaker of the House charging me money for his golf carts would be a problem.

No one claimed that.

Obviously ANYONE with dementia is a problem.

It's (should be) obvious that a POTUS with dementia presents a greater problem.

#50 | Posted by TrueBlue at 2018-01-18 08:45 AM

But the POTUS does *not* have dementia, so not a problem.

I would suggest that what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Let's have all the people in these leadership positions tested and publish the results.

#51 | Posted by sawdust at 2018-01-18 12:25 PM

But the POTUS does *not* have dementia, so not a problem.

This fact will be helpful to Mueller when he questions POTUS as too many claims of "I don't recall" will not be credible.

Trump is dangerously obsese, and clearly has brain problems possibly due to AIDS.

#51 | POSTED BY SAWDUST

Why do you think he doesn't have dementia? Because the doctor said so? The doctor also said that he was 6'3". Contrary to a plethora of pictorial and video evidence. If the doctor was willing to falsify that information, why do you think he would be unwilling to falsify the rest of it.

Also, the liberals you mentioned are not showing signs of dementia, and we can assume that if they were diagnosed with it they would resign their positions. Because they are honest people. Unlike Trump and his administration who lies obsessively (or do you ACTUALLY believe he had the biggest inauguration crowd ever, and won the electoral college by the largest margin since Reagan?).
