My father, the Catholic priest who doesn't want to know me

At the age of 12, Sarah Thomas found out that her father - who she'd never known - was a Roman Catholic priest. She then spent years trying to establish a relationship with him. It took a near-death experience for her to overcome the scars of his rejection.

I had to throw this one up as it illustrates far too many of the problems with oversimplification from what I see as the Religious Righ as a whole. You know things like: Just Obstain, No Sex before Marriage, No Abortions. This is a good outcome for the most part in real life but not because of her priest father or anyone from the church.

I just hope that Biblical retribution is real for this jerk. I hope he suffers the exact retribution he preaches others will face if they create children and then ignore them for their entire lives.
