Justin Timberlake rebrands as a white man

We don't know yet, but what we do know is Justin Timberlake is now very deep. The trailer for Timberlake's new album Man of the Woods presents the former NSYNC heartthrob looking pensive in various natural settings, hitting every note of the "white man finding himself in the empty West" trope that has long been part of America's romantic fictional past (and Levi's commercials).

Lol....ok...

What a bunch of junk analysis. Timberlake is a talented artist. I'm sure Man of the Woods will be refreshing and unique. I'll take a listen and give it a chance.

"White man" = "Hipster" = "Lumbersexual"?

I don't think it's fair to say Timberlake is pretending to be anything other than himself.

Well, with all the usual asshats here talking about black confederate soldiers and other nonsense how can anyone tell, (who is joking)

How do you tell when one clown is joking and the other isn't?

I've enjoyed Justin Timberlakes performances for years, I expect to enjoy this new album, will be surprised if I don't.

No kidding.

Poe's Law:

Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers or viewers as a sincere expression of the parodied views.

The original statement of the adage, by Nathan Poe, was:

"Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is utterly impossible to parody a Creationist in such a way that someone won't mistake for the genuine article."

Nulli prefers his entertainers and politicians about 70 years already dead.

So in your world, net worth is your method of calibrating "talent" ...

So you would agree then that Trump is a talented leader.

What are you worth Chief?

"What are you worth Chief?"

Don't forget Mitt Romney, GWB, Rush Limbaugh, and all those "douchebag billionaires" Pinch keeps mentioning.

How do you tell when one clown is joking and the other isn't?

Most people who aren't on the spectrum can evaluate others statements to ascertain humorous intent.
