Social media users on Tuesday mocked President Trump after he took credit for the safest year on record in commercial aviation. "Since taking office I have been very strict on Commercial Aviation. Good news -- it was just reported that there were Zero deaths in 2017, the best and safest year on record!" Trump tweeted Tuesday. Social media users were quick to mock the president, questioning what he meant by saying he was "very strict" on commercial aviation and asking what he actually did to improve airline safety. They also called for Trump to be strict in other areas, such as mass shootings.
Whew...I never got electrocuted/drowned/decapitated/burned alive or dismembered last year...THANKS LORD DAMP NUT !
This is ridiculous. Dotard wants to be thanked for a year where no deaths occurred?
This ignorant skinsuit couldn't spell FAA if you spotted him an 'F" and an "A".
In other news, no giant asteroids came crashing down sending us back to the dark ages.
He was very strict on them Asteroids.
Thank you Donald.
But, we did have a few train crashes.
Obviously Obama's and the Deep State's Fault.
I'm surprised he didn't take credit for this:
