Trump: Lowest Approval Rating Ever for First Year

A majority of Americans don't think too highly of the job Donald Trump is doing as president. It has propelled him to a singular accomplishment: the lowest approval rating of any modern president in December of his first year in office. Trump's most recent approval rating, according to Gallup, is at 35 percent. Another CNN poll, which surveyed a random sampling of 1,001 adults from December 14 to 17, put him at 35 percent. They are some of his worst marks yet as president. No other modern president has come close to such failing grades from the American people at about 330 days in office. His predecessor, Barack Obama, had an approval rating of 50 percent in mid-December 2009. Ronald Reagan previously held the record for lowest approval rating for his first December in office, at 49 percent.

Real sure.

Only the rwingers at Rasmussen have him higher.... in the 5 other current polls he is at 30-something.

OK, I speak from the point of view of a person who has been subjected to New York City news for the past few decades, and has seen all manner of news reports about Donald Trump, the person, for more than a couple of decades...

All I can muster to say is:

Why is the ~lowest approval rating~ a surprise?

If he were not the President, I'd refer to him as a slime-bag low-life.

LIES LIES DAMN LIES I have found a poll from a right wing polling agency that has trump at a 100 percent approval in its polls.

Why OF COURSE BOAZ, any poll other than Rasmussen is run by socialists out to get Der Fuhrer.
Enjoy that bubble.

"You may as well polled the Huffington Post."

Even that would be better than Rasmussen.

Pretty low poll numbers, but at least Trump isn't colored, like Obama. Wait. He is colored...

I'm surprised that there are any dead enders left claiming that polls are fake. Trump's polling has been sinking for months. They're even sinking among Republicans who watch Fox News. Americans are sick of the lies and the constant dramas he starts with his childish behavior on Twitter. Even people who agree with his policies feel that way.

LOL, this poll had Hillary winning 73-26! But hey if it makes you feel good to see low approval numbers for the POTUS I'm happy that it cheers you up.

Thank you. I do feel better.

fish, why do you keep going back to a election that was over a year ago? you sound as if that one incorrect poll negates everything they do in the future.
your schtick is old and stale.

The national polls were dead on. Hillary by a little.

The state polls, where polling errors are higher, were only a little off.

Polling isn't an exact science when it comes to voters because you have to guess who is going to vote.

Polling on approval opinion is easier because we don't worry about who is voting.

Stop wasting out time with your garbage.

So what is the point? I know you Dems want him out but low approval ratings won't do it. Either will a soaring economy, low unemployment and the defeat of Isis. But keep being miserable, seems it consumes you 24/7. Try to have a good day, for once.
