Jimmy Jesus Raises Niners from the Dead

The San Francisco 49ers have their quarterback of the future, and he's about to become one of the richest men in professional sports. That was already apparent when San Francisco traded a second-round pick for Jimmy Garoppolo in October. There were clues that the 2014 second-round pick was quickly becoming a franchise quarterback when he threw a sweet touchdown pass on his third snap as a member of the 49ers, and more hints came when he followed that up by leading San Francisco to three consecutive victories over the Chicago Bears, Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans in December. But Sunday's performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars clinched it.

Glad to see the return of the 49ers, just too late for this year after 10 losses.

Garoppolo is a beast. The Niners will be a playoff contender next year.

He's playing well, and its exciting to watch, remember Kap played well too.

But remember he's new, defenses will adjust, and then we will see if he is the real deal.

I am excited about the potential, but realize he hasn't been studied yet.

4 games isn't enough of a sample size in my opinion. Could be great but could be another Brock Osweiller.

Let's see how he does when teams get more film on him. "New" QB's usually get away with 2-3 games before reality sets in.

I don't want to start
Any blasphemous rumors
But I think that Sheeple's
Got a sick sense of humor
And when I die
I expect to find him lahhhhhgh-ing.
