Trump Angry Tax Bill Isn't Being Celebrated By All

Bess Levin, Vanity Fair: [D]espite the fact that [Donald] Trump stands to financially benefit from the bill beyond his wildest, most self-serving dreams, and that its passage represents his first concrete "achievement" since entering office, the Queens-born billionaire wasn't in as jolly a mood as one might've expected; apparently the lack of media praise for a bill that will hurt large swaths of the American populous was really getting to him. The amazing thing here is not that the president of the United States is stomping around like a spoiled child who received 39 of the 40 big-ticket items he asked for from Santa. It's that he can't fathom a scenario in which his tax bill wouldn't be universally hailed by the media and the public, outside of a "Fake News" conspiracy.

Apparently when Paul Ryan swore that the tax bill would pay for itself, we weren't supposed to take him literally or seriously ...

In fact, many experts do know that the tax cuts will not pay for themselves. For instance: the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation, which the G.O.P. chose to smear earlier this month when it put out an analysis of the bill that conservative lawmakers didn't like.

If the Dotard-in-Chief (DIC) didn't lie so damn much Americans might actually believe he had our best interests at heart.

But Trump has made it quite clear that he places his own interests above ours.

Robbing from the middle class and our children's future to pad his own pockets and to stuff the pockets of the rich is not something most of us appreciate or care to celebrate.

I am saving my celebrations for the day this bigly DIC gets exactly what he deserves.

"I am saving my celebrations for the day this bigly DIC gets exactly what he deserves. "

And the Republican suckups in Congress that he rode in on.

Donald is unhappy because Americans aren't quite as stupid as he hoped. Yeah, we're really going to celebrate that the Trump children don't have to worry about inheritance taxes.....riiiight! One term and gone.

I guess Donald should have spent Christmas with the Koch's.

The way the Dotard is styling this bill it is, prima facie, fake news. The results for his voters and the US economy will be far different from what he and his toadies claim. In about ten months, when the economy is not much different from its current state, the Trumpers will be claiming that more time is needed to deliver on the lies put forth by the GOP, thus Republican candidates should be re-elected, "to finish the job".

By the time the 2018 midterm elections are upon us, the dishonesty will be so thick voters will be able to cut it faster than a Trump steak...
