Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told CNN Thursday that he steamed Donald Trump's pants as part of his responsibilities on the 2016 campaign trail. In a conversation with "New Day" anchor Alisyn Camerota, Lewandowski was expanding on an anecdote in his campaign memoir, "Let Trump Be Trump," in which he revealed that campaign spokeswoman and current White House communications director Hope Hicks was tasked with steaming the candidate's suits on his private plane -- while he was wearing them. ... When pressed by Camerota on whether he also steamed pants while the future president was wearing them, Lewandowski replied, "Look, of course. When you're in a rush, Alisyn, we're doing 25 events a day. We're stopped in the airplane for 15 seconds. We're going to make sure things are ready."
I saw this crap on MSNBC the other day in passing. They complained that not only did he expect to have his look prepped before touchdown, he also demanded unopened Oreos. I know, such a difficult person!
If she forgot the steamer I could easily see how this would perturb a presidential candidate on a tight-tight-tight schedule, regardless of control-issues. It's beyond comprehension why Lewandowski didn't just get a steamer that minute. You have a phone and people, a credit line and many options nearby - this was her "make it work moment." He could be impressed by a great recovery, and I would include a package of white fudge covered oreos - they don't have red and blue yet.. If she can't lead the pack, let alone be responsible to it's cause, "you're FIRED."
Cocaine only gets you halfway - you're clothes must also sparkle!
