Time’s Person of the Year: ‘The Silence Breakers’

Time magazine has named "The Silence Breakers" as its 2017 Person of the Year -- the women (and some men) who came forward with stories of sexual harassment and assault, forcing a nationwide reckoning.

The magazine calls them "the voices that launched a movement." Among them: Actresses Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan, whose stunning accusations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein helped lead to his downfall; activist Tarana Burke, the creator of the #MeToo movement; and Alyssa Milano, the actress who amplified it.

"The galvanizing actions of the women on our cover ... along with those of hundreds of others, and of many men as well, have unleashed one of the highest-velocity shifts in our culture since the 1960s," Time's editor in chief, Edward Felsenthal, said in a statement to "Today."

These "silence breakers" have forced a national reckoning on sexual harassment.

So... instead of being on the cover of Time, Trump is fighting one of his many accusers in court.

Ironic, eh?

It's kind of a f--- you to Trump. Not only are you not 'person of the year', but you are in fact the exact type of pig being denounced by the #metoo movement.

This obvious partisan disregard for Trump's tremendous achievements ~ more tremendous than any President in history ~ not to mention the tremendous respect for America that his tremendous deal making was able to achieve ~ plus the tremendous cut in taxes for the middle class ~ plus the tremendous way he is winning, winning and winning more than Hillary and Obama combined ~ which is evidenced by the tremendous crowds who show up to support his tremendous administration which he has staffed with the most tremendous cabinet the world has ever known.

Trump will not let Time's stupid fake award go unpunished. It's a PLOT I tell ya. A tremendous PLOT to destroy his tremendous presidency.

/snark off
