Farenthold Spent Taxpayer Money on Harassment Claim

Rep. Blake Farenthold used taxpayer money to settle a sexual harassment claim brought by his former spokesman -- the only known sitting member of Congress to have used a little-known congressional account to pay an accuser, people familiar with the matter told POLITICO. Lauren Greene, the Texas Republican's former communications director, sued her boss in December 2014 over allegations of gender discrimination, sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Greene said another Farenthold aide told her the lawmaker said he had "sexual fantasies" and "wet dreams" about Greene. She also claimed that Farenthold "regularly drank to excess" and told her in February 2014 that he was "estranged from his wife and had not had sex with her in years."

Did somebody say Taxpayer Money?

"I love how all the leftest start out by saying someone will get a windfall what they don't say is the money was earned by the tax payer. See the money that is worked for is the tax payers money not the Governments and if said tax payer gets to keep some more of his own money that is a good thing

Now come on folks - where is the outcry? Another "do as I say, not as I do" R-winger busted for sexual harassment. At least Democrats are holding their own responsible for their actions.

Hey Butterball--those are some manly PJ's! I'm sure all the Texans in your district will hoot n holler about how good you look dressed up like a four year old. I'll bet that filly in the photo REALLY wants to see your 'Armadillo tail'...

I understand why you are upset that he stole your pajamas, but 10 years seems excessive.

Actually he stole them from Roy Moore they're great for attracting the young ones.

Nope.

That's his stomach fat.

Which is probably why he's divorced and hasn't gotten laid in years.

Foreplay shouldn't be the cave scene from the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

How many really? Because I can only think of Conyers.

#13 | Posted by jpw at 2017-12-02 01:42 PM

Conyers spent 17 million?

#14 | Posted by Sniper at 2017-12-02 04:45 PM

Conyers was exposed for having fired, then put back on the payroll, one woman to the tune of $27K.

Given the legal structure Congress has built for itself, around this issue, the problem is most certainly widespread.
