Iran's wrestling coach is receiving a bashing on social media after asking his player to lose in the Senior U23 World Championship in Poland.
The incident took place when Ali Raza Karimi was leading against his opponent. Iran's coach, though, told him to throw the fight after realising that victory would have pitched Karimi against an Israeli opponent in the semi-finals.
The incident was recorded on the video, which was later posted on Twitter. The coach twice shouts you must lose' in Persian in the video.
If you throw matches you should be banned from competition. It's incredibly disrespectful.

I threw a match once for strategic reasons.
Sectional finals, freshman year.
I knew that as a #2 I would get a #1 in round 2 at districts. I figured they would be pulling weight hard and have a rough night trying to make the weigh out.
It worked. I throttled the guy and it opened up my side of the bracket. I skated to the finals and went on to win my first of 3 state titles the following week.
Who's taking a knee here? What is the threat of beating the Israeli? The annexation, depopulation and colonization of Palestine? Oops, I mean Iran? Israeli are essentially North Korean, so be careful which teahouse you visit..
Does anyone have any explanation for this behavior other than maybe fear of more Israeli 4am flybys, blowing up Iranian civilians on their way to work or the myriad of chemical weapons they have used on their neighboring nations civilians which are now pointed at Iran?
