Kaepernick marks Native Americans' 'Unthanksgiving Day'

NFL free agent Colin Kaepernick visited Alcatraz Island on Thursday to mark "Unthanksgiving Day."


Kaepernick joined other activists for the Indigenous Peoples' Sunrise Ceremony, a commemoration of 90 Native Americans who occupied Alcatraz for 19 months in hopes of turning the former prison into a school, according to the Sacramento Bee.

I love Alcatraz Island!

Went there on a field trip as a kid with the YMCA.

Not sure it would make a good school.

Historically, America kept all it's Indian treaties until Andrew Jackson was president (he was a famous "Indian fighter").

So how is Thanksgiving bad except for turkeys?

It's not like the Pilgrim's where secretly plotting to elect him centuries later....
