A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter. The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge. Plans were prepared Friday for anyone charged to be taken into custody as soon as Monday, the sources said. It is unclear what the charges are. A spokesman for the special counsel's office declined to comment.
I should say the reason this makes me happy is that I don't think Trump and the GOP will be able to shut down an investigation that is handing out indictments. I don't imagine this will be any big fish or even Russia and collusion related.
My guess is Trump Junyah!
At least that would be a swift kick to Trump's nads, going straight for the namesake before anyone else.
I'm pretty sure this is going to be a Pokemon trainer we haven't heard about yet. But I'm sure his name will come out in the Washington Post.
Benjamin Wittes @benjaminwittes
So if this is for real, it appears to be an egregious leak and may actually be law enforcement leak.
I am not saying the story is wrong. I am saying let's all hold our horses and respect the process.

I can't wait to see what imaginary DNC-Russia development our friend's on the right submit tomorrow to distract their wee brains from this one.
Rush hour will probably drum up this Kennedy Sideshow rather than let the American people focus on what's Happening Here and Now.
13: Well, if we are going for a home run, I would love to see His Eminence Trump locked up. Triple play would be DJTJr Eric and Ivanka locked up. Anything less would be less satisfactory.
Now we know why Fox News was running this story today:
Mueller facing new Republican pressure to resign in Russia probe
Hurry up with her emails:
Trump presses State Dept. to accelerate release of Clinton emails

Uh-oh, if true, big if (note the date stamp):

"We're bracing for an indictment, when first one hits we will impeach." Sr Staff for GOP House Member on Mueller's likely indictments #AMJoy

"If anybody thinks the Mueller investigation is going to be wrapping up, this decision guarantees it will go well into 2018," CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said
Also, a sealed indictment is usually for someone who is a flight risk, which might remove most of the usual suspects, maybe someone behind the scenes and not necessarily a big name like Manafort, maybe someone who werked for him.
Or, preferably, The Hair has been indicted and will turn states evidence on Trump. The Hair know where all the bodies are buried.
Trump's mouthpieces have apparently been all over Fox News calling for Mueller's resignation.
Perhaps this indictment is his retort.
"Unless CNN has screwed the pooch in epic fashion, this changes the game completely.
You had to know something like this was coming; the sudden frenzy over the Steele dossier and the revival of the roundly debunked Uranium One story, two news events which I decline to believe were coincidental because I am not someone who bought an admission to Trump University, were pretty clear tells that bad news was coming from someone. (Note to any legitimate journalists who are pursuing the uranium story: you are refs who have been worked.)
Now the stories to be pursued do not involve when Mueller and his people will move, but against whom they already have moved, and who might those people give up to save their own hides.
This is now a crime story. That makes all the difference. The mist is beginning to clear across the Great Grimpen Mire."
Sean Hannity @seanhannity
This has been a HORRIBLE week for Mueller, Special Counsel's office. THIS IS ALL A DISTRACTION. Monday I'll have the details. TICK TOCK....!
6:46 PM - 27 Oct 2017
- Thoroughly debunked, btw.
Sure. Won't make the investigation go away however.
Maybe little Anthony will wish it into the cornfield.
Take two of these and call someone else in the morning, Trumplesheepskin.

Well, that certainly ends the discussion.

Convincing to say the least, IMO.

When will @HillaryClinton be indicted?
6:04 PM - 27 Oct 2017
I'm kinda hoping it's Hillary Clinton because that's what the country voted for.
And all the people who voted third party because they can't stand her, isn't this kind of the exact reason why?
So that adds up to a majority.
Saturday night massacre anyone?
@JulietteKayyem warns on @CNN to "brace for'' Trump to fire Mueller.

Sheep the more I look at that scandal the more it seems there is nothing really there, trust me if I thought it was real I would be screaming about it because I dont like the Clintons, but there is nothing there
here is a new and some what good article on it
"The Hillary Clinton Russia Uranium One Conspiracy Theory Doesn't Make Any Sense"
Release the she-mails!

Maybe Trump can call on Russia to hack Hillary's emails and get Wikileaks (he LOVES Wikileaks!) to release something to help him distract from this. Or maybe he can provoke rocket man.
poor sheeple. Best get in your deflection bubble quick!
Reality is about to come crashing down on you.

Stand by to stand by. Trump is not the only person who knows how to create suspense.
As Trump is so fond of saying. You will see.
According to a spokeswoman for the Committee to Defend the President, who I just saw on TV, the person who will be indicted is Tony Podesta.
What kind of leaky ship is mueller steering? If you're going to indict someone, get in front of the cameras and say so. Otherwise, stfu.
My guess is Manafort.

If we are speculating(our favorite past time here) I am gonna go with Flynn Manafort and Carter Page.
But the real catch would be Don Jr. That would push Trump right over the edge. Now that would be fun to watch.
Getting the popcorn popper warmed up and the beer chilled. Gonna be the best drama show this year. This is getting better than The House Cards.
Maybe we can call it The House of Dotards.
It's a sealed indictment... you know, so the perp doesn't run, Trumpifidian.
You'll get over it. Maybe Richard Spencer will win the GOP nomination next time and run with David Duke.
So.... your dream ticket.
Obviously not going out on a limb here, my guess is that it's Manafort, probably for money-laundering before the campaign but hopefully for collusion as well. If it is just the former, than that tells me that either Mueller hasn't found enough to go after the campaign or the fix is in. If it is the latter, than maybe Zed will get to use his handcuffs.
I hope it's Manafort, and I hope he gets charged in NY State as well, so that he can't be pardoned. Squeeaaaalllll!
Most people do think it's Manafort. Buy personally I think Manafort is too big a fish to fry right at this moment. He'll be more useful down the road after he sees some of the others going to prison. Manafort doesn't strike me as an easy flip and the money laundering charge is just an offshoot of the Trump/Russia investigation. Remember, Manafort isn't the real target. He and the others are just useful tools ~ a means to an end so to speak ~ that Mueller will use to close the net.
I think the weakest link is Carter Page with charges against his son used as leverage to get Page to sing.
We may not even get a name. Could be that Mueller would just prefer to watch them all sweat it out. Or maybe someone will get nervous enough to show up on his own in hopes of getting off.
get your nuttin' burgers here; we've still got some medium well left; but they'll all be well-done soon! get your nuttin' burger here!
