I doubt that any of her students were attending these fishing trips...if my sons teacher worked as a stripper in her spare time....oh well, I know he's not going to be going there...she can do what she wants. As long as she if fully prepared to do her job, does it well, I have no problem.

According to the article she got fired for missing more than 30 days during the school year. I personally would not get fired for that since I have 64 days of vacation accruing each year but she's nowhere near old enough to have built that up.

Barring unusual circumstances, missing more than 30 days in a school year is bad. She's a teacher and isn't even required to work 52 week out of the year.

I wonder if teachers realize that. My wife has a degree in elementary education. She doesn't teach now but has a friend who teaches junior high English. I wonder if she realizes some of her students probably have wet dreams about her.

Was she wearing a bikini (top and bottom) or did she go topless in her part time job as "first mate." The school said she was fired for missing more than 30 days. She said she was fired for her bikini-wearing part time job on the fishing charter. If she was topless and her high school kids could go on those fishing charters then the school did have a right to get rid of her. If she was wearing a bikini (bottom and top) then the school really had no right to fire her. Most female teachers on their day off at the beach would probably wear a bikini or two piece bathing suit anyway.

Wonder if that girl likes bubble baths as much as Bubbles (AKA CalifChris)?
