my question is why has the temp of Mars gone up the last 40 years by the same amount as the Earth? If the climate change is man made then what have we done to cause Mars to heat up? I Found this information in National Geographic from research by NASA.

I had an English teacher in high school. While in a pawn shop in Amarillo, two thugs came in and robbed the place. Mr. Carter was shot in the head and killed by a 17 yr old that was a few weeks from being 18. He was sentenced to death. The Supreme Court ruled a few years later (Justice Kennedy argument was that the Europeans did not like this) that a minor could not receive the death penalty. The thug was then moved to life without parole. If he was 2 months older he would have been dead right now. He knew what he was doing and did not care about a human life. I pray that Justice Kennedy will base his discussion on the Constitution and not how people in Greenland or some other country feel. Mr. Carter's Family, and all who lost a great teacher anda good friend Deserves better.

Just as a curiosity --- how much exactly has the Taxpayer had to "pony up" to date?

according to eli.org from 2002-2008 the government(taxpayers) have spent 2.3 billion for carbon capture and storage; 12.2 billion for traditional renewables; and 16.8 billion for ethanol. brings the total that the taxpayer had to "pony up" for those years to 31.3 billion. And that was during the evil Bush years. I am sure this will be tiny compared to what lies ahead.

You can judge how important a problem is by how people that are supposed to understand behave. Al Gore says that the beef industry is a huge CO2 culprit. But He still eats steaks like they are going out of style. His house uses as much electricity as 20 average houses. He claims that he only uses clean energy to power his house but you cannot sort out the electricity source once it enters the line. Plus if he is "only" using green energy then his usages is forcing 20 homes to use conventional energy.
With his jets, houses, parties and lifestyle, Al Gore's action does not show that the problem with CO2 is a real threat.
I have a problem with someone that is making billions off of a scare project whose flames he is fanning.

I still don't know why the right is so overjoyed with two governorships.
