My brother and I used to be able to score tickets or scalp them at the stadium for a reasonable price. We could drive down to Giants stadium a couple times a year and see a game and it was not a huge financial burden. It seems like some time in the late 90's or early 2000's everything became so expensive at the stadium, not just the tickets (parking, food, beer). When the total price of a day at a Sunday game got to be over $200 per person, we stopped going. Once we stopped going to the physical games both of lost a lot of interest in the whole game. I will still watch a game here and there, but I don't follow the NFL like I used to.
