Goatman,
You are correct, sir.
About 57 percent of Enron's 21,000 employees participate in the 401(k) plan. The company generally matches employee contributions at 50 cents on the dollar, up to 6 percent of their salary, with Enron stock, which cannot be sold and put into another investment until the employee reaches age 50. But Ms. Denne said workers otherwise ''have a range of options'' in which to invest their money.

AU,
The employees still had a choice. I would rather lose the matching than to put most or all of my retirement in one company's stock.
Especially if I was close to retirement.

This is a liberal website.
It's hilarious how you pretend to be nice while hurling insult after insult.

Especially please focus on what he will do to help my 67 year old father who was about to retire when he lost all of his retirment thanks to Enron
A 60 some year old had 100% of his retirement in one company's stock?
That either screams BS or the worst retirement planning ever.

goatman you make me laugh ...you have no debate skills, you attack and that is the best you can do.
you remind me of the developmentally disabled boy in my third grade class last year. he would fight with all the other students in my class, and rather than make a point about anything he would just attack others. It was clear that he was disabled because he had no thoughts of his own, all he had was the ability to attack and restate what other children in the class said. Are you his absent father? because all i see on here from you is attacks towards other people. Do you only come on here to attack people. Try and original thought, you might like it
Criticize another for attacking and then attack that person.

Making a run on the bank to withdraw their money probably isn't going to help matters.

They have been lampooning political candidates since FOREVER!
Yep...and I'm sure the left, including Obama, have had a chuckle or two from all the caricatures of Bush and Cheney.

I'm disappointed that Obama is all in a huff over this.
From the sounds of it, the article makes a good point and the cover goes with it.
Grow up, Obama.

I knew that would get Corky going.

Being a critic herself, shouldn't she get her husband to apologize for NAFTA?
