Why do both when you can get the same result with just prosecuting employers? This country could do a lot better things with 30 billion.
How come trump voters aren't screaming for the working part of the solution, only the unnecessary part? More proof trump voters are dumb.

As I see it, and I only speak for me, the wall is symbolic of a real effort, after years of pretending to fix the isue when it is obvious that there was no real effort to stop illigal immigration, either thru employers or real legal enforcement. We need both, to stop employers who want to be legal from abusing workers, and also to stop those who may come to work under the table or for any other reason. If you want to immigrate do it legally. If we as a nation decide need more workers increase legal immigration. The days of sneak in and you are home free have to end.
As for the cost, it is 1-3 days of the budget for the feds to build the whole thing, depending on whos estimate you use. Literally nothing to the feds. It is not even on the radar as far as I am concerned. The cost is a smoke screen by elites and by those who dont want action.
