Same here. In fact mine is my second one. The first one I had for 11 years, 200 kmiles. All I ever did other than the usual preventative maintenance was change the starter motor and the fuel pump. She was leaking oil towards the end -- about a quart every 4 or 5 tankfulls. But as I said on a thread a few weeks ago, I drive slowly, no jackrabbit starts or stops, etc. That goes a long ways towards the longevity of a car IMO.

I was at my local small town bank a few years ago standing in the single queue waiting for an old blue haired grandma to finish showing the teller pictures of her grandchildren. No big deal. I wan't in a hurry. But the yankee wannabe Texan behind me was. He shouted up to the old lady to please get out of the line if she was through with her transaction. The manager of the bank heard that and came out and told the guy that if he didn't want to wait, he could take his money somewhere else and he would help him close the account.

Actually, I think it is a heart-warming story. If you read it, you would know it's not about circumcisions. It's about a man's medical contributions to some needy people -- everything from removing cysts to dental work. Circumcisions were mentioned only a couple of times. I think rcade just put it in the title for sensational value. Read the entire story. I don't think you'll find it so "creepy".

Actually she (not it, btw) was born into one of the most liberal households I know. The mom was at my cousin's (a far left sheeple if there ever was one) house when she went into labor. She was supposed to have been born there, but when the midwife saw that the baby was too large to be delivered naturally, they went to the hospital. The mother is very liberal and my son is moderate. I only mention it since things like party affiliations seem very important to you.

I didn't think about it until just now, but both my son and his daughter are born on days that are celebrated by minorities exclusively in Texas. My son was born on June 19, aka Juneteenth which is the day the Emancipation Proclamation was read in Texas and today of course is the Cinco de Mayo. I believe the Cinco de Mayo has spread outside of the Texas borders in the last few years, though.
