Still I have a hard time imaging the killer being allowed to waltz into heaven and enjoy the same experience same as his victims.

Those he killed should be grateful---after all they wound up in heaven thanks to the killer. The same for aborted fetuses. Is it better for them to get admission to heaven, or live and risk burning in hell forever.

I suppose ultimately I just have to keep having faith that God is Just.

Nope--greed made him take welfare. The point is that it doesn't take much investigation to see if Fancher said what he was accused of saying---using the bible to cut food stamps. It wasn't that hard to find. Just because it isn't in the article doesn't mean it wasn't said someplace else. You should try to answer your own questions first.

So what quote from the Bible did he use? I read the article and there were none, girevik.

Who ever said God made anything to last? Although light is pretty neat.

Even photons don't last forever. The soul is said to last forever. God is said to be pefection. That eveything dies is not the hallmark of perfection.

And perhaps God transformed the earth, that he already created so long ago, as referenced in Genesis; and created man.

This planet is not yet done evolving. That is why earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes exist. Using the past tense for the earth being created is clearly false.

Why did he create mankind? who knows - records don't say.

Actually the stories that were stolen to make Genesis DO say why mankind was created. Human were created to work for the gods.

A lot of theologians think that we have been here about 6-10000 years.. but even then there is no proof of the exact age of mankind.

The topic point is evidence of a multiverse.. one that cannot be easily explained nor omitted - without all the facts. Thus the theoretical physicist claim. Theoretical physicist are the modern day soothsayers. Everyone has a theory.. it is those whom can compel others into their "belief" that their theory, via physics, is correct - so therefor it must be (without facts).

When congress declares WAR, it is a big deal. Congress has not declared war on another country sincew WWII. When congress does declare WAR, you won't need to pull up some abstract authorization of force to cover your ignorance. You can just show a headline like this:

Are you saying you support welfare? Tesla paid all the money back, and now there is an electric car company on the planet that is profitable. Since we got the $451 million back, is it best to give it to the poor?

None of them are going to tell you that a taser, mace, club, knife, hatchet, axe, or wedgie is superior to a gun for self-defense.

They are all more effective than the gun, if you can't get to the gun. A gun is only effective if you get a stupid bad guy that breaks into your home when you are there and makes enough noise to wake you up and gives you enough time to get to your weapon. Other than that ONE instance, your gun is not effective against a bad guy that wants to kill you.

The only person I know that brought a bat to fend off a home invasion was shot in the chest and died on their living room floor.

He should have had an alarm sytem. Got a link? I didn't think so.

Bob would have a 100lb women go after a 200lb man, who may or may not be jacked up on some performance enhancing substance with a taser, never considering that the best option might be to climb out of the window and run to your neighbors house.

If someone wants you dead, your gun isn't going to stop them. How about a list of homes that were broken into that had an alarm system.

I guess that the point is that a gun is only good for defense in a very few cases, and the threat of danger comes from hundreds of places where you just can't use your weapon effectively.
The only place a weapon is effective is if a bad guy breaks into your home and gives you enough time to get to your gun. There are other ways that are more effective simply because they are simpler to access. It seems to often the people who have weapons only think of killing the intruder. Preventing an intrusion is better than killing someone in your living room. An alarm system--even if the police are far away, will wake you up in time to get to your weapon, but most likely it will deter any break in. Tazers, dogs, outdoor lights, mace, clubs, knives, hatchets, axes, and atomic wedgees are all preferable than an option that kills thousands each year. But if a gun is all you can think of, my point stands. Weak brains lead to a weak country.

So, if the earth is 4.5 billion years old, why wait until the last few thousand years to create man? God must really love him some dinosaurs to keep them around for 140 million years.

The answer to the question as to what god was doing for trillions of years before the universe was popped into existence is---nothing. Your god is even less valid than Santa Claus. At least Santa Claus is based on a real person.

It saddens me to think that so many millions of Americans are too dim to protect themselves in any way other than owning a gun. Weak brains lead to a weak country.

Interesting. So, the universe is about 15 billion years old. Any idea what god was doing 500 billion years ago or what he was doing for 485 billion years until it decided to create the universe?
