I am a Conservative and completely content in my life because I don't worry about things I have no control of; global warming, the economy (everybody else can have a recession, but not me), poverty, so on and so forth. Yeah call it having your head in the sand. I'd rather not try to depress myself which is what some people do. We live in a great society with a robust economy, so great that people have to manufacture things to worry about. We have the leisure to worry about things out of our control.
I am in college and some classmates get so damned depressed about shit like Tibet and the environment, while I just enjoy going to off track betting and living my life.
Its not ignorance, its knowing what the hell you need to worry about.
So you say. I live in Nebraska, where whites vastly outnumber blacks, and Obama won here. What about Iowa? He's also polling ahead in Oregon. What about there?
Ya I didn't say white people don't like the guy. It is curious that when blacks vote 90+% for a black candidate, it doesn't mean anything. When 60% of whites vote for a white candidate over a black candidate, the headline reads that whites are racist.
