Okay, say the bank was located on tribal lands, all that means is some South Dakota state laws do not apply, it does NOT mean that federal "Know your Customer" laws are exempt. I seriously doubt there could be a case made for independent banking under the prevailing treaty law.
Don't get me wrong, I applaud the effort, but this will probably end like e-gold, with lost deposits and the people behind it prison.
Any bank physically located within the USA is under the control of the federal government, just ask Leonard Pelltier, AIM or any of the people who died at wounded knee 1 and 2.
