Barack Obama's campaign plans to employ high-profile female supporters in an effort to blunt GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's potential to persuade women to vote Republican.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius all were scheduled to campaign for Obama in the coming weeks.

So you believe Blacks are justified in being in favor of letting a Black murderer go free just to stick it to Whitey? -- fwthom

??? Where do you get that motive? Juries can't convict if there's reasonable doubt, and key evidence was handled by Mark Fuhrman. Fuhrman was later convicted of perjury in the trial, and in part of his testimony, invoked the fifth when asked if he had ever falsified police reports or manufactured or planted evidence in the O.J. case. With apologies, here's a quote from Fuhrman:

"Yeah we work with niggers and gangs. You can take one of these niggers, drag 'em into the alley and beat the shit out of them and kick them. You can see them twitch. It really relieves your tension."
en.wikipedia.org

Any jury should find reasonable doubt when key evidence was handled by Fuhrman.

At the time, I was working in a jazz club and knew many smart, reasonable black men who truly believed OJ was innocent based on their own experiences with police harassment. (And remember, this was happening in the wake of the LAPD's Rodney King beating en.wikipedia.org and Rampart CRASH scandal. en.wikipedia.org) I think he was guilty, but in spite of being sickened by seeing a domestic abuser/ likely murderer go free, was relieved by the verdict because a legal system that returned any other judgment was a sham. It also seemed to force the LAPD to finally clean house.

Hey Corky,

I posted this already -- www.drudge.com but do like your headline better.

Here's my reaction to this move:

Ah, that Obama. Putting women where they belong -- shilling for the man.

If the Dems want to regain any cred, they should find a way to make Clinton Senate Majority Leader NOW. Then they can talk about what Obama and Clinton could do together, instead of reminding people that she's been relegated to campaigning for a guy not nearly as qualified as she is.
