It is one thing to police yourself on the course but quite another when you do and have to tell the world how cool you are through numerous press releases. I am sure Titleist will be announcing their new "prototype" ball soon.

Arizonans have been voting since about October 1. That's when the absentee and early voting ballots get mailed out. Arizona also has lots and lots of old folks who prefer to vote at home. So I would expect the early voting to reflect the earlier polling numbers.

I voted two weeks ago and I can say with a fair degree of certainty, Obama got at least one vote in Arizona.

Arizona also has an enormous Mormon population. So between Mormons, your normal stack of evangelical fundies, rednecks, a large number of military personnel (not so telling this time around, but in the past largely conservative), investors living in heat (again normally republican, but who knows these days) and the elderly I think it is safe to say that Arizona will go McCain.

There's a reason why: smart voters know that a president from your state will advance your state's interests. The fact that it's even close says a lot about how well McCain has represented his state's interests, but let's face it what other president will give Arizona a better deal? John will win Arizona, no matter how embarrassing the margin may be.

The race is very close in Arizona. Talking to my friends here in Phx I find most to do not have a real understanding of the issues each candidate stands for. I voted 2 weeks ago for Obama and glad I did. I joked with my friends that the only reason I voted was for the state props and a definite no for sheriff Joe - I mean it was assumed McCain would be handed Arizona. But now we are seeing voters learning that the race is close and will vote knowing that their vote will make a difference. Of course everyone going to the polls on Nov 4 will find Sheriff Joe's posse dressed in combat gear at the polling stations to scare away the hispanic votes.

I wrote this letter to the editor early this morning but I highly doubt they will publish it.

Letter: After reading your endorsement for Senator McCain where you quoted "[N]owhere else in the country do voters know John McCain like Arizonans know John McCain", I was wondering if you even considered why the Anchorage Daily News couldn't say the same thing about Palin. Alaska's largest paper just endorsed Obama. Here's what they had to say about their favorite daughter: "To step in and juggle the demands of an economic meltdown, two deadly wars and a deteriorating climate crisis would stretch the governor beyond her range. Like picking Sen. McCain for president, putting her one 72-year-old heartbeat from the leadership of the free world is just too risky at this time".

McCain must be thinking he had a case of temporary insanity when he selected Palin. I wonder if he realizes that this will be as bad for his future as ignoring the warning buzzer when his jet was fired on over North Vietnam.

Weapons usable material is U-232, which is a weapons-usable material like weapons-grade plutonium (WGP) and high-enriched uranium (HEU). It is very dangerous in the wrong hands. What will happen most likely is it will be converted into a non-weapons-usable form to avoid the costs and risks associated with safeguards and security of weapons-usable materials. U-233 may be used to produce bismuth-213 (Bi-213) for treatment of certain cancers.

Basically it is some serious shit until it can be diluted with enough U-235 to effectively make it non-weapons-usable material.

They already have a nuclear bomb. Their long-range missile tests have not been too successful over the past few years. People need to realize that nuclear weapons are a defensive weapon, not an offensive weapon. Countries develop them to discourage other countries from attacking them. Also, it serves no purpose to develop nuclear weapons in secret. They have their greatest effect when you tell other people that you have them.

When you buy your $5 a share stock, you are buying $160+billion debt in the hope that someday (or some decade), the thing can turn a consistent profit.

Why don't don't they record Bomb Bomb Iran and use that?
