He deigned it? Really?
Ok, so he denied it (because it isn't true -- he never sponsored or even cosponsored the legislation). And then he said, but it isn't a bad idea. Ok -- so read the bill.
It mentions comprehensive sex ed (IN HIGH SCHOOL) and says the program should begin as early as kindergarden or 1st grade with AGE APPROPRAITE MATERIALS. For children that young, it means the teacher would explain to them that there is such a thing as inappropriate touching. If an adult or another kid touches you in certain places or in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, you should tell your parents or teacher.
REALLY DEVIOUS STUFF, EH?
McCain and his damned swift-boaters are trying to make it like he gets off on showing porn to 5-year-olds. So who here is sick in the head?
"52 percent said they would have backed the former Democratic candidate; 41 would have backed John McCain" -- that is exactly what the last national Gallup poll between Obama and McCain the day before election day, when those numbers tightened up considerably. The 9% between 52 and 41 broke for McCain in a big way. That makes sense -- 9% of the country voting for McCain but not wanting to admit it sounds about right to me. Anyway, I guess that goes to remind us that it's votes that count -- not polls. Besides, Obama is going to be a much better president than she could have been.
