well duh! but really folks only assholes drink cweerz.

I am too lazy to read the whole article, but it would not surprise me if he was drinking something else other than Coors.

Rocky Mtn. Dogwater

He was on his way to pick up some Bud.

I like the beer made from the ol muddy Mississippi, not that clean clear Mtn water.......geeez

...guess they don't call it the "Silver Bullet" for nothing, do they?

You gotta drink an awful lot of Coors to even get a mild buzz. It's just beaver piss strained through a loaf of wheat bread.

last time I had a beer was at a pro ootball game with Dodi's ex...yeah & hometeam got whippppppped!

Go COORS....

www.metacafe.com

I'll bet this guy was a fucking Republican (snicker snicker).

This guy is a typical Bushie richy rich man that steps on the throats of the poor with his unfair business practices culture of corruption superstitious reichwing gay marriage mini-cooper.
Sincerely,
Danni

PS- Stolen election diebold exit poll Ohio hanging chad Prescott Bush brown shirt.

Well it's not like you can get drunk on piss!

(Lager is where it's at. Unless you're playing beer pong.)

Stolen elections by the brown shirts...the republicans were wearing brown shirts that day??

Best beer in North America:

Boulevard Pale Ale, from Kansas City

Fat Tire.

Good for breakfast, lunch, supper or anytime in between.

Best Beer in North America??

Which awards did it win?

Anywho, back on topic. Georgie and Shotgun Dick will send him a DUI merit badge that they got themselves for the same stunt. Shotgun has two, that tricky Dick!

Bah, who cares about awards? I don't care what a bunch of beer tasters have to say. Neither does the average American. (Note the popularity of Coors.)

The amazing thig about Coors drinkers is that they actually argue with Olympia drinkers over which one is better!

It had to be done, there were so many posts, and no one made fun of Bush or Cheney yet! It just didn't feel right, being here at the Retort and all.

Here's a great example of where fines should be based on income. Fine Coors the standard $$, take away his license, like he cares. He'll just ride in a limo. Short of jail time (which everyone knows he has no chance of getting), he could care less what happens.

If this happened to a regular Joe it could ruin him. Lets put the same pain on the rich. Say it cost a poor man 2K to get this settled and he makes 20K. A rich man should pay 10% of his income to settle this too (whatever it costs the poor to get out of it)

One time I was in Stan's by Yankee Stadium and there were these two little red-headed twins in full Mets garb and both are walking around holding their arms out like they're huge or something. You could tell they desperately wanted to be bad-asses and it was mildly amusing. But then one started chugging two Coors Lights at once so I had to ask him why he didn't just drink one normal beer - which made the people he was trying to impress laugh. He pretended he wanted to fight me for about a half hour. I just turned my back and started talking to my friends a minute or two into it. And then when I had to leave for the game he was yelling "Yeah, that's what I thought...."

Anyway, that's what I think of every time I see Coors Light now.

Good thing he didn't shoot a 'pube-lickin lawyer in the face. He might have had a 'shot' at higher office that way.

Sully, I agree 100% about your "one real beer" comment.

When I was in college, this one place was very popular for their "penny pitcher" night... and of course it was Coors Light. We would go over there and drink all night, an I don't believe we got drunk one single time.

Maybe this Coors dude should be punished by making him drink Coors Light all the time. I guarantee, he'll never get beyond the safe driving limit.

Are you kidding? He just sold the company to Molsons. He doesn't have to drink that Rocky Mountain crap anymore.

He can have a Molson's Canadian, and still act like he's a company man!

Magic Hat, now that's a tasty brew!!!

Drunk driving is what I like to do.
I like drunk driving with you.

You have love Sublime!

I'm pretty fond of Molsons Golden. A really cold corona with lime once in a while is pretty good.

I hate beer snobs. They make me want to puke up my 8 cans of Natural Light.

Your not supposed to say puke. It is regurgitate.

Yeah, but it's hard to say regurgitate when your puking.

Guess the "Please drink responsibly" bit applies to the customers but not the owners. You just can't make this stuff up.

The man is a human being.

He drinks beer and drives sometimes, like every other human fucking being with a pair of gonads.

The fact that a shrill group of zealots and their pants-pissing enablers have lowered the legal blood-alcohol limit to ridiculous levels is a far more significant commentary on the state of our society than one man getting busted for driving in violation of that limit.

If this happened to a regular Joe it could ruin him. Lets put the same pain on the rich

If this happened to a "regular Joe", he wouldn't have to make a ridiculous public apology and have his plight commented upon by hordes of anonymous, class-mongering assholes on the internet, either.

"The fact that a shrill group of zealots and their pants-pissing enablers have lowered the legal blood-alcohol limit to ridiculous levels "

Yeah, it is ridiculous. Basically it's creeping prohibitioninism by groups like Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

There were 17,000 alcohol-related fatalities in 2004
Six times 9-11 and Pinche thinks we're too hard on drunk drivers.

Ah!!!!

The old "9-11" arguement.

VERNON:
If I'm ever in KC, I will try your recommended brew. If you are ever in South Central PA, try the micros at the Appalachian Brewing Company (ABC) in Harrisburg or Gettysburg. Great selections and great food. I would also recommend Riverhorse in Lambertville, NJ but I'm not sure if they are still doing business after our big flood in late June.

I'm sick of the whole neo-prohibition crap. Even the woman who started MADD is disgusted with what the organization has become.

If they want to revoke the licenses of drunk drivers, that's one thing. But these idiots are looking to take away cars, houses, first born children, etc. It's completely insane.

It's completely insane.

needed repeating

Now that gem got a newsworthy Zata.

Geez guy, go watch Discovery Channel or PBS or something. I am sure thehre is some false science on or something you can drool to.

It was two words from the post above.

Bored beyond belief I suppose?

Pete Coors? The Hompophobic Union Breaker?

Descended from a family of Nazi sympathizers?

Just another rightwing hypocrite?

YES

Coors taste like water to me. Its a weak beer, I am a big fan of german or microbrews.

Is Pete Coors "homophobic"?

Really?

Why?

"Union Breaker" I can respect--because any effort by the productive elements of society to drag their nuts across the face of organized labor is admirable.

"Nazi sympathizer"?

Really?

Oh please link me to whatever Trotskyite website gave you the balls to write that.

I need my daily requirement of weak, specious horsehit.

Thanks!

BRIWI, it's amazing that these CONS don't seem to know about Coors history with the unions and with gays...Hell, you couldn't find a Coor's in San Francisco for a long time...until Coors realized how much business they lost and started making "lovey" with gay causes and pumped donations in...

and the old man didn't want to sell his beer East of the Mississippi...

Wack jobs every one.

He wasn't drinking.... he was checking quality control.... yeah that's it. That's the ticket.

Back in the 70's and 80's we coul not get Coors in Ohio. We only heard it was the most amazing beer in the world.
Flew through Denver on the way back from L.A. and I grabbed a case of Coors and another of Olympia. Brought it back to my close friends and shared them one night.
All in agreement that the mystique was over-hyped and the beer was underwhelming.
Same thing happened with Red Stripe in Jamaica.

"I'm sick of the whole neo-prohibition crap. Even the woman who started MADD is disgusted with what the organization has become."

Exactly right, JSG. She quit the organization and has denounced their prohibitionist advocacy.

Coors taste like water to me. Its a weak beer, I am a big fan of german or microbrews.

Ditto for Budweiser. How anybody can drink that crap is beyone me.

Reilly
Yes, .08 alcohol level is ridiculusly low. It's just shows they are are out to increase arrests.
