Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Sunday, April 16, 2017

President Donald Trump was very active on Twitter Easter morning and lashed back at protesters wanting to see his tax returns, saying he shouldn't have to show them since he "easily won the Electoral College." "I did what was an almost an impossible thing to do for a Republican-easily won the Electoral College! Now Tax Returns are brought up again?" Trump tweeted. Moments after his "Electoral College" tweet, Trump accused the protesters of being paid to turn out, with the president tweeting, "Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!"

True. But Donald may not have won it if he'd released his returns, as he promised repeatedly to do so.

I'm uncomfortable having a liar of this magnitude in power. Someone as dishonest as Donald is prime traitor material.

Not a single thing he said has any sort of basis or relevance in reality.

What an idiot.

His brain dead flock of deplorables understand exactly what he means.

Which is.

He won. The left is bitter. The democrats pay people to protest. He doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to.

And his supporters fully agree.

"People have got to know whether or not their president is a crook." Richard Nixon

I agree with Nixon. The tax returns would help in that regard.

Perhaps all government filings, including tax forms, should be public records.

I don't know why Trumplethinskin repeats that... it isn't about the election ... its about him releasing his tax returns.

No one can be protesting about his tax returns, he said no one was interested in seeing them.

Call me cynical, but I smell a staged special interest event(s).

Trump paid for the protesters. It is listed right in his tax returns.

Since you're adding to it, yes Trump, release your tax returns. Until you do, no one will trust you, except your blind followers.
But, that's good enough for you, right?

The election is over but Trump promised to provide those returns "as soon as the audit is completed". The audit is, of course a never-ending problem.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Trump demand to see Obama's birth certificate even after he won the election?

JAMES, you're post is fine as long as you're committed to getting the present criminal out of office. If equivalence is raised to somehow give Donald a pass, then to hell with you.

Easily? No. Reagan in 84 was easy. You are no Reagan.

Money laundering seems a good possibility.

ZED, I've got to see actual proof of a crime not just accusations of collusion.
