Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and ranking member Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) have asked the White House to offer by Monday any evidence showing Trump Tower was wiretapped. A congressional aide confirmed to The Hill that Schiff and Nunes made the request in a letter to the White House. The letter was first reported by The Associated Press. Trump has kept his distance from the press since last weekend, when he accused former President Barack Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower before the November election. Trump did not provide any evidence of the claim, and a spokesperson for Obama denied that he or any White House official called for the surveillance.

I think Donald will continue to do what he's done so far, piss on the fire he's started by ignoring it

When things are calmed down, he'll insist he was right all along and we'll be treated to another week in the monkey house.

"Republican Senator John McCain backed the request on Sunday, saying Donald Trump must either come up with the proof or retract his claim.

"I think the president has one of two choices: either retract or to provide the information that the American people deserve, because, if his predecessor violated the law, President Obama violated the law, we have got a serious issue here, to say the least," he said."

"There's a lot of aspects with this whole relationship with Russia and Vladimir Putin that requires further scrutiny, and so far I don't think the American people have gotten all the answers," McCain told host Jake Tapper.

"In fact, I think there's a lot of shoes to drop from this centipede."

Exactly right. Trump and his co-conspirators think they can just throw out so much crazy ---- that average folks will be so distracted by the newest shiny button of craziness that they forget the previous ones. "Oh, that's just Donald. Doesn't he say the wackiest things?"

Interesting that the so-called Kenyan birth certificate just happened to show up in Obama's half-brothers hands this week, eh? An amazing coincidence, on the order of winning both Powerball and MegaMillions.

Trump is a conman. Trump is a phony. Trump is a bully. His word is as worthless as a degree from Trump University.

Evidence of a wire tap would be inconvenient to the FBI and Obama. Evidence of Trump's "Russian Connections" are all vaporware or the result of Obama's dirty tricks division of the FBI.

Not a very presidential move. We have bigger problems to resolve as opposed to making this another wasted headline.

"Come on people, keep pushing this, cause if the evidence comes out I want to see the reaction."

And if it doesn't then we can all legitimately call Cheetolini a big fat liar.

Auntie, I agree with you but if the far left progressives want to keep smacking at trump I like it, cause the outcome of real information will really force them to rethink our secret mining of government intrusion.

It is amazing this isn't understood as now being political silence for government purposes, so pushing it will not be the outcome they think it will be.

Hell, man. Push the damned thing. Include a thorough examination of Donald's finances and business dealings everywhere, and I'll be happy.

Some of us want honest government. WHICH WE DON'T HAVE, IN LARGE PART TRUMP. No one's going to cry big salt tears if the crooks get found out and one of more of them have to flee to Russia, where they'll be offered asylum until Putin finds something more profitable to do with them.

And here we go. Politicians and the media have been accusing Trump of so much stuff and most of it has no proof, but you don't hear from any panels about that. Trump makes an accusation and the top panel in the country comes out in arms over it.

Yep, that's American politics people. Once we let logic escape, it has been nothing but this kind of crap against our Presidents ever since.

Actually, a degree at Trump U is now worth about $15,000 - $35,000 in class action settlement fees that Donald Trump now has to pay by order of the court.

The stated Donaldista position seems to be you are being unreasonable if you want evidence.

Here's hoping Donald gets burned enough by this today to Twitter himself ragged.
