Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Sunday, March 12, 2017

This TV interview being interrupted by a very cute toddler, a baby on wheels and a speeding mom is the funniest thing on the internet right now. But it probably isn't how Robert E. Kelly imagined his appearance on the BBC World channel would turn out. The professor of political science managed to keep his composure and get through the interview about South Korea. Asked later if the clip could be rebroadcast, Kelly responded on Twitter, "Is this kinda thing that goes 'viral' and gets weird?"

Priceless clip. The toddler elbow march, dad's slow swipe, baby on wheels, panicked nanny. It's got it all.

But you know how every conference call from home ends in disaster for somebody. I've heard dogs, babies, parrots, arguments...hahha.

#1 How does it feel to be an agent of the white Christian male heterosexual Patriarchy?

panicked nanny

That's the mum and the prof's wife, not a nanny. The little kid even said in Korean, "Mum, what's going on here?"

Why do people think random Asian lady is the nanny? Racist or just a dumb American? You decide.

Frankly I assumed she was the nanny because she looks so much younger than him.

She was normal. It's white people who age faster than normal when it comes to looks. It's common having a 20 year old look middle aged, specially when it comes to white women.

East Asian women look much younger in comparison.

Kids aren't great, we just accept more from them. If this had been a 20y/o interrupting the interview, you wouldn't think it's great at all.

So you're both anti-racist and a racist?

As for the video, funny as hell.

I am a man of contradictions. A very complex individual. As well as a victim of circumstances.
