President-elect Donald Trump on Monday condemned the assassination of Russia's ambassador to Turkey, calling it a "violation of all rules of civilized order" and saying it was carried out by a "radical Islamic terrorist."

"Today we offer our condolences to the family and loved ones of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov, who was assassinated by a radical Islamic terrorist," Trump said in a short statement.

I do not support assassinations but the crimes against humanity being committed by Syria and Russia do call into question the right of Russian diplomats to demand safety for themselves even as they bomb civilians, kill and maim civilians on a mass scale. Were I a Syrian I doubt I could control my anger against the Russians and the Assad regime in Syria.

"violation of all riles of civilized order"

Silly sentence. Sounds like someone got him an official statement writer.

Things like this happen to peoples of countries who commit violence in other countries for plainly selfish reasons and then expect the peoples of those countries to either cower and do nothing or to embrace them in brotherhood afterwards.

Meanwhile little O drones kids and wedding and funeral processions and people are quiet for fear of being labeled racist....

Sad to think that some here would actually condone the murder of our diplomats given thier logic...

Blowing up children with thermobaric bombs is "civilized order"?

You're really something of a fool. You'll have no qualm killing whomever when Donald starts his own wars. Or, conversely, you won't give a damn if genuine bad guys get by because Donald is too lazy to pursue aggressive action.

Donald is a hypocrite, leading hypocrites. Y'all may as well shut the hell up. You have no political values outside of loyalty to your tribe and as many morals as Donald has, which means none at all.

Genuine bad guys?

You mean like the moderate beheaders that that decapitated an 11yr old for playing with toys? That ripped the beating heart out of a 4yr old on video solely for being Allawite and not Sunni?

Oh.. nvm.. those are Obama supported and funded moderate beheaders that decapitated an 11yr old for playing with toys and ripped the heart out of a 4yr old solely for being Allawite and not Sunni.

Dont wanna call Obama out on that. That would make you a racist if ya did amarite?

#7 - you sure are harping on being called "racist" a lot. If that's happening frequently, and it appears it must be, you might want to think about why.

Is it kinder to decapitate the child or crush it under the rubble of their home that was airstriked?

When you encounter a poisonous snake in your garden you don't cry, you take a hoe and separate it from its head.

Zed - Do you have any legitimate criticism of Aescal's point or was your strawman that he will defend atrocities at some point in the future all you have? Certainly even you realize that name calling is not having a point.

Aescal's criticism of Danni's point from #1 was spot on. Since then, all of you chumps have basically been saying "I don't like he said that but can't refute it so I'll call him a name or make some crap up".

Sad.

#14 - Seriously? That's beyond stupid. Firing a weapon to all a snake when a garden tool will work better, quieter, and much more safely?
You give testosterone a bad name. What an idiot.

The late great Zatoichi bragged that he shot a snake in the head behind his washing machine. He sounded like he was proud of his manly self.

Sure thing. I was just wondering why someone who is getting owned so hard would call the other guy stupid. If he's stupid, yet infinitely better at making a point than you are, there are certain implications to that....

"I do not support assassinations but the crimes against humanity being committed by Syria and Russia do call into question the right of Russian diplomats to demand safety for themselves even as they bomb civilians, kill and maim civilians on a mass scale."

You mean kill and main supporters of ISIS, or maybe the Al Nusra Front. You know...the "moderate" rebels?

You'll be happy to know that a cease fire was worked out, so most of them will be able to flee Aleppo and continue to fight for the prophet at some point in the future.

"Were I a Syrian I doubt I could control my anger against the Russians and the Assad regime in Syria."

That would certainly be true if you were pining for the day when Assad's secular government was overthrown, allowing devout Muslims to purify the lands of non-believers. But if you're one of those non-believers, you're hoping and praying that Assad stays in power. Because your life is literally depending on it.

Assad's government is governed by secular, Pan-Arab socialist principles. His is literally the progressive option for Syria. In much the same way that Saddam was the progressive option for Iraq. There is no outcome where these Muslim-dominated nations become little beacons of western democracy. In the absence of dictators who wipe them out, Islamists will come to power every time.
