Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Hillary Clinton acted like she was president while serving as secretary of state and once made a visibly annoyed President Obama wait for her as she schmoozed with foreign dignitaries at the United Nations, according to a former member of her security detail.

"When I first met her, we were given specific instructions: don't look at her, don't look at her general direction and if you need to talk to her, keep it short and stay out of her way," the agent said, backing up FBI documents released this week that Clinton's protective detail despised her for treating them with contempt.

Petty BS will not likely impact much.

But, this one time at band camp, Hillary didnt rewind the VHS tape and she rolled her eyes when the counter guy called her on it.

So, like... Vote for Trump! Right?

Sounds like the PI in my lab.

Character should matter. The problem is her opponent has no character either, so it's a wash. Although he's definitely far more gracious in person than Hillary could ever be.

It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations. -- Barack Obama, telegraphing the rise of Trump in 2008.

I know I am going to regret this but:

Was that supposed to be some kind of point? What are you trying to say?

"A contempt for common people is not a trait that most peopel want in their leader."

But what if that contempt is deserved?

For instance, contempt for people who spend all their time complaining on the internet about ---- they know nothing about. I for one think anyone who repeats "Mark My Words" over and over again anonymously on the internet but never actually holds to those words ---- deserves a truckload of contempt

You think her secret service detail deserves contempt?

This thread isn't about Trump.

Was Obams showing contempt for common people when he said that?

Then you're talking about individual people who deserve contempt rather than a base contempt for common people, which is what I was talking about.

Apples and oranges.

That seems to be a matter of opinion. I personally think that in context he was trying to be sympathetic to views that he doesn't identify with himself but arrogance got in the way a bit.

Its certainly not as obvious as ordering people who you will be in contact with on a regular basis not to look at you.

Wow! The NY Post with a one anonymous source Hillary story?

Color me convinced!

Hillary's contempt for her security detail has been cooperated by a number of sources and this dates back to her time in the WH. More recently it was an FBI report that showed her security agents hated working for her and would seek reassignment even though SoS security is viewed as a prestigious gig in their circles.

Trump? Well, I measured the character of Hillary once and then later on measured Trump's character with a ruler. Trust me, he had about 1/32 inch more character than she did. :(

-by a number of sources

Mainly by one other source, Gary Byrne's book, which story was thoroughly discredited by other more senior agents.

Lemme guess - the Politico article you linked was written by Glen Thrush?

Let's try something a little more official, shall we:

Because of the redactions it's a bit difficult to read. This article sums up when is contained in the FBI report I linked:

Really?

Don't like PJ Media? Go the FBI link I provided. I provided the PJ Media link because the MSM will never report on this. Not now. Not this close to the election.

The FBI link doesn't seem to mention the NY Post's anonymous source's claim, that I saw on brief perusal.

Go the FBI link I provided.

I did. How am I going to post here if I have to read 100 pages of half-redacted FBI memos?
Why don't you just tell us using your own words what you think those 100 pages have in them that's so important. Man up already.

It's true that reality has a liberal bias.

The alleged "liberal bias of reality" has not assisted those coffeeshop idealists who graduated with "liberal arts" degrees find gainful employment after their undergrad years.

#27 | Posted by snoofy at 2016-10-19 06:01 PM | Reply

It may be classified as such, but the diploma says "bachelor of science."

Though, I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a scientist.

I've never understood those programs which offer a B.A. and a B.S. Like, why? (As a hard science major I get to pretend anything that isn't hard science doesn't deserve the title.)
