Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Chris Christie's approval rating has dropped to its lowest point yet and is approaching a record level for any New Jersey governor in recent memory, according to a new poll. The Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind poll released Wednesday morning found that the Republican governor's approval rating stands at just 21 percent, down from 26 percent in July. The new poll comes just days after Christie signed into law a 23-cent-per-gallon increase in the gas tax and as the Bridgegate trial has dominated the news with negative headlines about his administration's conduct.

He isn't afraid to show the little people what he thinks with a regressive tax.

21 .. that's like half Christie's BMI (body mass index)

Who are those 21% anyway? There are really 21% of the people in NJ who approve of closing lanes on a major bridge as a punishment for another politician who didn't support Christie in the election?

Since he's such good friends with Jerry Jones, maybe Christie can get a job as the Cowboys towel boy when his term is done. If he doesn't end up in prison, of course.
