Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, October 18, 2016

After weeks of Donald Trump warning that the election would be rigged, one Pennsylvania Republican official circulated an image claiming Pennsylvanians can vote online for Hillary Clinton. The official is Murrysville City Councilman Joshua Lorenz, whose image features an American flag with the phrase "You can vote at home comfortably online!" in big lettering. It then gives fake instructions on how to vote online on November 8. Lorenz said it was "abundantly clear" that his social media post was a joke. Because it is illegal for elected officials to knowingly share misinformation when it comes to elections, the matter is being referred to the state attorney general.

... The official, according to a screenshot of a Facebook post, is Murrysville City Councilman Joshua Lorenz. Lorenz, a Republican, was most recently elected in 2015 and his term runs through 2019. He also works for the Meyer Unkovic Scott law firm in Pittsburgh and is the vice president of the Murrysville City Council....

It looks as if he should have known better.

This is an effort to get lower information voters to NOT show up on Election Day and have their vote counted. This clown should be charged with whatever applies in a case like this.

I can see that "Councilman" Joshua Lorenz has a great future in the Republican party. It's never too early to start your ascension to the White House janitorial staff.

It is clear that election fraud occurs on a regular basis perpetrated by the GOP.

No, it was intentional. That's the difference between what Hillary did in emailing confidential information not marked and what this individual did. That said, despite breaking the law, its unlikely anything will be done.

I highly doubt the GOP will be ranting and raving about it though.

How do you show him your ID that he demands we show for in person voting?

Where are the Conservatives screaming about voter fraud and calling for him to be locked up?

RE #13

They are all out busy trying to disenfranchise millions of Democratic leaning voters with voter ID laws supposedly designed to prevent 31 out a billion incidents of voter fraud.
