Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, October 18, 2016

When Donald Trump lost Iowa to Ted Cruz, he claimed the caucuses were stolen from him. When Donald Trump hit a rough patch in the Republican primary in April, he said the rules were rigged against him and labeled the process a "scam" perpetrated by party bosses. When he sank in the polls after the July conventions, he fretted the Nov. 8 election would be fixed: "I'm afraid the election's gonna be rigged, I have to be honest." Now, as the brash Republican underdog faces the roughest stretch of his campaign and slips in the polls amid accusations of unwanted sexual advances from numerous women, he's sounding the alarm again.

Trump has demonstrated a knack for crying foul about a fixed election when he's facing a serious threat to his prospects. At each turn, his unsubstantiated claims have struck a chord with his passionate base of disaffected white voters no matter how the charges are answered by his fellow Republicans and rival Democrats.

In February, Cruz's campaign spokesman Rick Tyler dismissed the real-estate developer's claims of cheating as a "Trumpertantrum" and argued he was merely "angry with the people of Iowa" for picking somebody else.

Sen Sanders had specific concerns, which he listed.

What specific concerns, large enough to warrant the level of complaining he is doing, has Mr Trump listed? Besides, that is, the general whining about a rigged election when he falls behind in the polls?

Born filthy wealthy.
Dodged draft successfully.
Used "Charity Foundation" for personal benefit.
Stiffed hard working people, simply because he could.
Hasnt paid as much income taxes in the last 2 decades as you and I have.

Now he whines like a toddler who threw away his pacifier and cant get it back.

Thinks it's rigged against him.

World leader material right there!

The world's best deal maker ~ ((self-appointed)) ~ has just lost the biggest deal of his life.

That's gonna make him go absolutely bonkers. Hold onto your hat. A foul wind is about to blow.

It's hard to tell with Trump being such a self-destructing turd.

Trump's constant whining about the election being stolen from him is (a) factually bogus and (b) completely self-defeating. Nobody likes a whiny loser. He has become one and the election hasn't even occurred yet.

But it probably is a good strategy if his actual goal is to create a TV network.

Does Trump play soccer? ...sounds like a flopper.

Any of you Einsteins ever heard of Project Veritas? Turn off MSNBC and get out of mommy's basement. You might find out what's really going on out there.

Was that what W used to steal Florida in 2000, or Ohio in 2004?

Project Veritas = James O'Keefe. Thanks but no thanks. Unbelievably ridiculous.

If the Dems had something like a Project Veritas Trump would be crying that it was an example of a conspiracy between journalists and the media to make the Republicans look bad.

LOL, I suppose Snetzel thinks James o'keefe is some "neutral observer" when he is a Breitbartarian..... Maybe Snetzel needs to take his own advice and get out of his mommy's basement and stop hanging out at dead fat Andy's and other alt right wing nutter sites.

I bet Snetzel believed Jade Helm was going to happen and Obama is personally going to come and take his guns.

Some rubes will believe anything their little pea brains read.

If James O'keefe thought he could have made more money attacking Republicans for some liberal group he would have, guys like him aren't ideological, though they pretend to be, they are completely mercenary.

We already know that O'Keefe is a wannabe pimp peddling edited videos.

@#17 Good thing Obama never complains!

It is not a binary choice of whether or not someone complains.

It is a spectrum of how much someone complains and what the complaining is about.

Mr Trump's complaining about his fantasy of a rigged election process is unprecedented in its scope, volume and danger to the Country.

Absolutely unprecedented.

And yet some polls show him ahead as much as 15 points. Now it's been released that one of his accusers invited Trump to there home earlier this year? My money says after it's all over and done with these "females" will be found out to be frauds and everything was staged by the HildaBeast to cover up her crimes being exposed by the email hacks.

Trump's a megalomaniac with the maturity of a 10 year old

Rigging an election is cheating. I think Trump is worried now that he's getting outcheated.

Since he entered this race he's done everything he can to use free media attention to run his campaign on the cheap.

I guess this falls into the category of "Be careful what you ask for."~ LOL

I don't think Trump ever saw himself as a fool ~ but the media coverage made it plain and clear. Bless their wicked little hearts.

James O'Keefe is a discredited buffoon. Keep hitching your wagon to him, it makes you credible.

The difference between him and CBS, is that Dan Rather resigned when he was caught using faked material, the --------- like you think O'Keefe is a savior.

Other polls show that some people are so dumb that they believe these so-called polls.

On Twitter this morning Trump claimed that Clinton received the debate questions in advance.

"My lousy performance was rigged!"
