Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Six colleagues and close friends who corroborate former PEOPLE writer Natasha Stoynoff's account of being attacked by Donald Trump in 2005 are now coming forward. Among them is a friend who was with Stoynoff when she ran into Melania Trump later in N.Y.C. ... Marina Grasic, who has known Stoynoff for more than 25 years, says she got a call from her friend the day after the attack. Stoynoff detailed everything about the attack, from Trump pushing her against a wall to the business mogul showing up at her massage appointment the following day, she says.

According to Grasic, her longtime friend was embarrassed and even thought of Trump's then-pregnant wife when deciding not to come forward about the encounter.

"Natasha was also struggling about not hurting pregnant Melania if the story came out," Grasic says. "Beyond just the attack, she was horrified by the vulgar circumstances under which she was attacked and propositioned to have an affair.

Cant be true. Trump says all the allegations have been PROVEN false.

Right -------------?

Does anyone seriously doubt these allegations? When you brag about doing it and nine women say you did it and most of those accusers told other people you did it, you probably did it.

More Riggers!

100% lies!

Oh why is Trump being persecuted????

They obviously are all in on this conspiracy to make Trump look bad.

Rcade,

Your input on the wikileaks media thread has been requested. It's right in your wheelhouse.

The irony is sweating profusely.

And yet the religious right still supports him. Is farther proof of hypocrisy needed?

Hypocrisy?

No.

Just proof that their bloviating is empty wind that can easily be set aside when they want to.

For those who've gotten rich and powerful through it, it makes a little bit more sense. For those who haven't gotten rich but still participate in it, well I'm not really sure what's wrong with them.

I don't think the Religious right ever gets to talk about sexual scandal or morality ever again if they vote for Trump.

My Mom is the scourge of her altar society for being openly anti-Trump. Abortion trumps all, for some people, although we both wonder how any of them can be sure Trump is anti-abortion.

#8 That is Bill's revenge. He got them to vote for someone more depraved than he is, and it will twist them in knots if they have a conscience.

The one thing people keep missing is why did it take her so long in coming forward as well as the others? If any of this IS actually true it would have been headlines in MANY papers as soon as he was put on TV in a show.

Well, it's headlines right now. Does that make it true?

#11 Why come forward and make a powerful enemy without any expectation of justice when she is a lone voice without expensive lawyers. It is only when the perp brags about it and she found out she was not alone that she decided to come forward. Similar pattern with pedo priests and their victims.

Fair question. Apply it to Juanita Broadrick.

...why did it take her so long in coming forward ... -- #11 | Posted by tomalock

In a way, it's reassuring that you're asking this - it means you recognize that HE, not SHE, should be the one who feels humiliated. That's not the way it works, though. Going public means making the humiliation public, being subjected to accusations that either you're lying or it was your own fault. In Trump's case, it means you could find yourself defending a defamation suit.

People like you are missing the fact these women didn't speak up UNTIL Trump denied ever having done what he boasted he'd done in the video during the last debate.

He lied during that debate. That p****d them off. They spoke up.

Should be easy to understand ... for intelligent people, anyway.

Does it make it any less true?

This is why they are coming forward:

""Just for the record, though, are you saying that what you said on that bus 11 years ago, that you did not actually kiss women without consent or grope women without consent?" Cooper asked.

Cooper cut in, asking, "Have you ever done those things?"

Trump responded, "No I have not.""

That's why they are coming forward.

#14 Fair question. Apply it to Juanita Broadrick.

Clinton might have raped Juanita, although it can't be proven in court due to lack of evidence.
I wouldn't vote for anyone with credible rape allegations against them, which disqualifies Trump IMHO.

In a sworn affidavit on Dec 23, 1998, Juanita Broaddrick denied an "unsubstantiated, hearsay claim" made by the Paula Jones' legal team that Bill Clinton had invited her (as Jane Doe #5) to a hotel room and forced her to have sex.

Under oath, Broaddrick said the rumors were "untrue". Here are the relevant sections of her affidavit, per the Washington Post (my bold):

3. I met President Clinton more than twenty years ago through family friends. Our introduction was not arranged or facilitated, in any way, by the Arkansas State Police. I have never been an Arkansas state employee or a federal employee. I have never discussed with Mr. Clinton the possibility of state or federal employment nor has he offered me any such position. I have had no further relations with him for the past (15) years.

4. During the 1992 Presidential campaign there were unfounded rumors and stories circulated that Mr. Clinton had made unwelcome sexual advances toward me in the late seventies. Newspaper and tabloid reporters hounded me and my family, seeking corroboration of these tales. I repeatedly denied the allegations and requested that my family's privacy be respected. These allegations are untrue and I had hoped that they would no longer haunt me, or cause further disruption to my family.

At least Stoynoff was not threatened and intimidated into silence as were many of Bill Clinton's victims by the enabler in chief. Thanks for bullying women Hillary!

And kissing someone that does not want to be kissed is wrong. So is having lewd conversations about the opposite sex. It is super naughty. So if you've never come close to those behaviors or enabled them, by all means grab that moral high ground and crow how great you are!

Meanwhile, HRC as secretary of state joked about droning Assange. But hey she kids because she just don't a rat's ass about anyone who hasn't paid the cover charge.
