Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, October 17, 2016

Democrats appear to be outpacing their 2012 early vote performance in several critical swing states, giving Hillary Clinton a head start on Donald Trump in some of the most important presidential battlegrounds. In two must-win states for Trump, North Carolina and Florida, Republicans are clinging to narrow leads in the total number of mail-in ballots requested. Yet in both states, Clinton is ahead of President Barack Obama's pace four years earlier -- and the GOP trails Mitt Romney's clip. This year, the Clinton campaign expects as many as 40 percent of battleground state votes to be cast before Nov. 8.

Donald Trump will soon be thinking about how to take personal revenge on entire states.

I have never early voted before but this election is such a nightmare that I'm going to early vote and try to just put it out of my mind.

Corporate-wide boycotts of entire states, I'd imagine. The irony being those states will quietly thank him for the gesture.

Donald Drumpf will soon be thinking about how to take personal revenge on entire states.

Hopefully he will demand that his followers in blue states abandon everything and move to a red state, if there are any.

Democrats voting proves that the election is rigged!

Anyone voting against Trump proves the election is rigged in Trump's mind.

To be fair, that doesn't mean much...on the other hand, the comments above are hilarious. Carry on, women/men/undecideds/transitioners!

Tempted.
Although I may wait to say "F#ck off" to any slack-jawed, knuckle-dragging Deplorables who try to challenge my right to vote.

I haven't waited until election day for more than 20 years.

If you want to wait in the lines on November 8th, I guess it's your time to waste.

#14 - I just read it may be the opposite. They looked at donations. Trump is killing Hillary in the under $200 contribution which means he has more local support, while Hillary is only getting corporate donations and not much in the $200 and under game. As an example it was reported that Trump is outpacing Obama in small donations.

You know what that means.

You know what that means.

Yup... you're losing it. Obama is not running.

And the small donor metric didn't do much for Bernie Sanders either.

No, I think Hillary will win,

But I just see this the same as Reagan's first election.

People are restless,

And like it or not Trump is in the game,

It really is fascinating.

The funny flag is from Dave Chappelle for this one.

Early Voting Warning Signs for Trump

There are a lot of political operatives that are bent out of shape because of early voting. For years, there have been an inadequate number of voting machines to serve densely populated areas (aka inner cities). Voters had to stand in line for hours just to vote. I'm sure this discouraged many from voting (especially the sick and the elderly). However, now that there is early voting, the number of voting machines available on election day is not as much of a factor in limiting voter turnout. Hence, we have some operatives wanting to limit the number of early voting days.

The dead have a difficulty time making it to the polls on election day and have no choice but to use absentee and early voting.

Don't you mean the Grateful Dead? They must be grateful not to be part of the 2016 election.

The greatest crime against one man and one vote is gerrymandering, which virtually guarantees California is run by Wussies and Utah by Rethugs. Except Trump is so offensive to the Mormons that Utah is in play for the first time in fifty years.

Next we have Kathleen Harris, a Rethug, fixing the 2000 election for Shrub. Then we have Mike Dewine of Ohio rigging the computer tally in 2004 and destroying all the paper ballots illegally, preventing a recount.

Yet, according to those living in the Rethug bubble the problem is dead voting, when in fact there have been about 30 cases of double voting in a billion votes. Double voting is a waste of time, hours of effort for immeasurable impact. That alone guarantees it will never be a problem.
