Ezra Klein, Vox: The only person who doesn't know what's gone wrong for Trump's campaign, it seems, is Donald Trump. None of Trump's errors were forced. None of his problems were out of his control. He wasn't buffeted by bad economic news, or a staffer who said something dumb on television, or a change in geopolitics that undercut his campaign. Instead, the last week has been driven by three characteristics that are purely Trump's: his absence of impulse control, his overwhelming desire to be and to seem dominant, and his tendency to lash out counterproductively and personally when attacked.

We aren't watching Trump's campaign strategy play out. We are watching his psychological defense mechanisms play out. We are watching him try to restore balance to his own self-worth, not to the polls.

Now imagine those qualities, those reactions, in a president. Imagine them playing out when the antagonists are ISIS, or China, or Russia, or his domestic political opposition. It's scary.

This is one of the best analyses of Trump's "no nonsense" approach to issues as I have seen.

Journalists like this are a much worse problem in American than Trump could ever be. The funniest part is she casually brings up many of Clinton's shady past and then uses Trump's response as a measure of discipline...but she completely ignores the shady subject about Clinton she just brought up. Even journalists with an agenda won't bring up shady topics that put their candidate in a bad light and here she is doing it without even realizing it...

It's the same thing as someone saying, "Trump just killed three people and Hillary fires a twitterstorm...", and then getting really mad at Clinton and ignoring the fact that Trump just killed three people. I guess journalists need absolutely no education or critical thinking skills to get hired these days...

First off, Ezra Klein is a guy. Second, bringing up Hillary's pasts is exactly why he is a good journalist as it shows he is not loyal to an ideology. Anyone who talks about how bad Trump is must also acknowledge Clinton's past. That is not equivocating the two but showing that there are issues with Hillary as well as Trump.

Your analogy doesn't make any sense. Klein is not propping up Hillary, he's just stating what Trump is doing to his own campaign.

Reading the whole article and about who wrote it might help before you bash both the journalist and the article.

He's gonna be yugely shocked when he finds out he's part of the globalist conspiracy out to get him.

Yea the MSM is all over Trump but says nothing about Hillary. And all those positive ads by Hillary really show her strong points!

Trump, like most great men, is simply ahead of his time. In the future the rest of us will be just as self absorbed and crass as he is. And then it will all make sense. I think there is an obvious comparison with Trump and the way 16th Century Europeans viewed Galileo or Copernicus.

Mr Trump has always sought the attention of the media, he has stated as much in his rallies.

Well... now he has the media's attention.

All liberals secretly admire how Trump boldly moves beyond gender by making himself at home in the girls locker room.

The thing is - he's right. It is rigged. The corporate media and the bankers and warmakers have their candidate and they want her to win.

But his vile behavior being exposed is not a result of it being rigged.

Why couldn't yall have found a candidate who wasn't controlled by the bankers who ALSO wasn't a repugnant human?

Ya know... like Bernie?

his absence of impulse control, his overwhelming desire to be and to seem dominant, and his tendency to lash out counterproductively and personally when attacked.

----

Which are exactly the reasons why he would make a horrible President.

And a worse Commander-in Chief.

Trump is the last person I would want, coked up and full of rage, with his fingers doing a tap dance on the keypad of the nuclear football.

"...with his fingers doing a tap dance on the keypad of the nuclear football.

I'm pretty sure the JCS would go all Pakistan and take the football away from the civilians.

If Trump shoots someone and the media reports he shot someone, the Trump campaign will call the media bias.
