Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, October 15, 2016

Donald Trump on Saturday called for himself and Hillary Clinton to take a drug test prior to the third presidential debate. During a campaign rally Saturday in New Hampshire, the GOP presidential nominee compared himself and Clinton to athletes. "Athletes, they make them take a drug test, right. I think we should take a drug test prior to the debate," Trump said. "Why don't we do that?"

Trump says he would take a drug test, he's lying. He knows he couldn't pass one. Sniff, sniff!

PEDs are not against the law.

Trump is sinking deeper into the abyss of absurdity.

I don't know what's going on with her, but at the beginning of her last debate, she was all pumped up at the beginning, and at the end it was like, 'Oh, take me down,' " Trump said, imitating Clinton.

I thought the reverse was true of Trump during that debate. He started out fairly calm and got worked up as the night wore on. I comment at one point when listening to him: The Xanax is wearing off.

#1 | Posted by danni, I don't like the obnoxious Yankee bastard, but beyond the hype, Trump is a total Teetotaler. He has never drank alcohol, even once, and it is reported that he doesn't even like to take an aspirin. No one has any stories about getting high with Trump. Does smoke cigars, but not often. He lost a brother to alcohol, which might explain some of his behavior.

"He has never drank alcohol, even once"

Well, based on Trump's behavior and track record, like you I'm certainly willing to take his word for it.
After all, with Trump truth is paramount.

Trump is about three bad-news polls, one more on-the-fritz TelePrompTer, and a nervous breakdown away from saying he and Clinton should submit DNA samples to an independent party - Alex Jones, perhaps - to determine if either is a Reptoid.

I'll take his word if he claims to never have done drugs or alcohol, the leaves only that he's just fricking crazy.

Isnt it about time this mook got back to publicly ruminating on the size of his penis?

I was thinking that in the debate. Clinton appeared totally on something.

Certainly, would lay to rest Howard Dean's accusations.

He acts like a coke fiend.

Given his manic episodes where he hits a dozen topics in less than 5 minutes, and can't finish sentences, I'm beginning to believe the stories of his addiction to sniffing ground up diet pills is true. He sure acts like a speed freak.

I suggest an IQ test for Trump, followed by a drug test.

#12 | Posted by aborted_monson at 2016-10-15 07:54 PM | Reply

Donnie has the advantage here. He's been "testing" drugs for a long time.

Instead of a drug test, I'd rather see tax returns beore the next debate.

I've been accused in the past of doing drugs/coke [of course having allergies which causes me to sniffle somewhat frequently lends to that accusation], whereas I'm just a hyper Type A myself. My only drug of choice is alcoholic beverages which calms my 'hyperness' :).

Not a single person here has validated any reasonable position other than they hate trump.

We thought it went without saying that the agreed-upon rules of the debate are the agreed-upon rules of the debate.

Just like his tax returns, this is imagined as something he can "negotiate" on. This gives him "leverage."

The meatheads think a pre-debate drug test is a bad idea because it might prove their nonsense about his drug use is false.

LOL.

If he was even halfway serious about a drug screen, he would want it to be done immediately after the debate.

Then why not have a drug test. What is Hillary afraid of?

Maybe she is using cocaine?

What is she afraid of?

What is she afraid of?

How is it some putz suggesting a drug test means she's afraid?

#22 | Posted by REDIAL at 2016-10-15 10:59 PM | Reply

No different than Hillary suggesting he is hiding something in the tax returns.

After all, Howard Dean suggested it.

What is she hiding? What is she afraid of?

Why not do a drug test?

Afraid the Parkinson's drugs will show up?

Afraid the cocaine will show up?

If she has nothing to hide she should do the drug test.

Will make Howard Dean happy.

Every time Trump clames something on Clinton it turns out he is projecting on something he did that will come out. Notice how quiet he is on Clinton Foundation afer his was shut down. Notice how on attack on Bill Clinton just before all these woman came forward against him. He has tried to tie Lier on to Clinton but every fact check comes up with his facts being over 90% not true. Now with all his talk of the elections rigged I am afraid what he and the Russians have got planned.

Then settle it, have them drug tested. Then you will not have to hear about it any more.

You're only hearing about drug tests in the first place because Trump brought it up.
Would you change your vote from Trump if he failed a drug test?
No you would not.
It's dumb.
Stop it.

#27 | Posted by snoofy at 2016-10-16 08:04 AM | Reply

Certain DOT employees are mandated to be drug tested because they have the public protection at hand, well all politicians should be drug tested for the same reason.

Crassius @#14: RE hating Trump. At this time, who can say Trump is not completely unlikable?

#30 | Posted by john47 at 2016-10-16 09:53 AM | Reply

It isn't about likable, it is about thinking who is best to move his nation in a direction that will help the people of this nation.

You don't select a person to run your business because they are most likable, otherwise the business wouldn't be successful.

Problem with that is we don't all agree on what that direction should be. Even though millions more voters voted for democrats for congress than republicans, the way the districts are laid out, republicans have more representation than democrats in congress. That kind of skews the whole concept of majority rule. What we have here instead is minority veto. How can a society function if a minority can stop everything the majority wants to do?

#33 | Posted by WhoDaMan at 2016-10-16 02:59 PM | Reply

A cholesterol test would be in order for Trump.

Dude is way overweight, and with his diet of fast food, he's begging for a heart attack.

We are not a majority rule, we are a republic so there is no MOB rule.

No, representation by population and state it is quite fair, just because you coasty progressives have areas of major population cities doesn't mean you get to make all the rules. It's a vast wide country you know.

For the most part, someone in New York shouldn't be able to control someone in Wyoming, but alas that must have escaped you.

REIN

That seems to be the consensus of opinions and probably the reason why his can't release his medical records. The speculation has reached all the way to his campaign headquarters.

There could be other reasons for his lack of coherence but the most likely one is cocaine addiction.

Can you picture a cocaine addicted sex pervert with the mental capacity of a sociopath as president?

Moreso than any other recent election, this one has really driven home the fact that Americans view elections as a sporting event. Daily polls to tell us the score. And endless talking heads to tell us who is hot and who is not. None of it has anything to do with issues.

No moreso than here on the Retort where we make mountains out of every molehill that comes down the pike.

We're the echo chamber.
