The Fox TV drama Sleepy Hollow drew ire Tuesday for a marketing campaign touting National Beheading Day on the same day the world learned terrorist group ISIS claimed to have decapitated American journalist Steven Sotloff. The campaign was intended to invoke the show's Headless Horseman character. "We apologize for the unfortunate timing of our Sleepy Hollow Headless Day announcement," network publicity firm Think Jam said. "The tragic news of Steven Sotloff

Great! Tune in for the double-beheading of Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly. Viewers can see their heads on pikes outside the HQ of News Corp.

Well at least it is slightly less awkard than their National Shoot An Unarmed Black Youth day they celebrated last month.

Almost as awkward as the president saying he didn't have a strategy to deal with ISIS when he's known about the threat for a year. Or when he called them JV.

In my sick, twisted little mind, I misread "Fox TV show," as being "Fox News," because at this point, it really wouldn't surprise me if some clown on there spouted off about being pro ISIS simply because Obama is against them.

That's not merely bias, (although obviously not a fan), my lack of faith in the "loyal opposition," literally led me to contemplate the validity of this thought as plausible. And that is sad.

I can imagine it playing out: Fox yahoo says sarcastically, Oh, Obama waits until now to say something about ISIS, he was probably watching with amusement until he was pressured to say something. After all, Obama is a Muslim, look for the Sharia law and Happy Beheading Day in the future. This is merely a cover.

...I can actually imagine a plausible scenario.

Nah, I think my track record shows that I am quite able to comprehend complex issues. The real problem is that Fox News personalities are demented enough to go there, or at least pretty damn close.

Just bad timing. Nothing to lose your head over.

No different from the Spider Man film having to edit out the twin towers post-9/11. Sleepy Hollow show has an unexpected cougar fellowship, I rather doubt this timing will impact their cuddle time with Tom Mison.
