Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Thursday, August 28, 2014

A man has been walking naked through the streets of Topeka, Kansas, which to the surprise of some residents is not illegal in the state. "Unless someone is exposing themselves or a sexual organ to gratify or arouse someone other than themselves, it's really not anything against the law," said Shawnee County Sheriff Herman Jones. Several photos of the man have popped up on Twitter.

Just saw a news story on the topless protest in Texas while I was getting a cup of coffee. Question: why is it the women most likely to bare themselves as a protest are butt-ugly? I guarantee they'd get more attention for their cause if they were smokin' hot instead of eye-scarring, brain-bleaching she-hogs.

#10 angry inflamed protesting breasts are hot...the key is don't look at the face.

I personally am against nudity laws. when you think about it, morality/vice type laws are so nanny-state. Not that I would run around naked, butt (see that?) in a nation based on freedom, vice laws are pseudo-sharia. which ironically we oppose? we don't want people to be forced to wear a burqa, butt (haha!) we force people to cover up for the same reasons as the Taliban.

Yeah, for some strange reason, practically all men seem to resent nudity laws. Go figure. lol

I agree with you but we are no longer a nation of freedom. We are so totally a nanny state it isn't funny. As for vice laws - Sharia or Puritan?

Delete all anti nudity laws from the books!

The culprit is religion. That taught western civilization that our bodies are sin and that we should be ashamed to expose our nakedness to other people.

I've said it numerous time, [...] religion.

All it does is create psychosis and neurosis.

Funny but true... :)

Having spent time on some fine European and Caribbean and even US beaches I must say I find it kind of meh. There are of course the beautiful people and they are candy for the eyes regardless but I have found there were far more I would have donated to so they would cover up. But in the end I am all about whatever floats your boat as long as you don't hurt anyone else...

Having spent a fair amount of time at clothing optional beaches, hot springs etc. both in the U.S. and abroad I have to say we would probably have a healthier respect for our bodies and the variety of possibilities rather than the longing for cookie cutter concepts of what is attractive. Most places in the US are prudish and have a rather strange idea of what is normal, Hiding behind clothing to cover perceived flaws is nothing short of pathological IMO.

I bet if were less acceptable for people to stuff their fat arses into sweat pants and go into public than to go into public nekkid there would be fewer people with blubbery hineys oozing the sides of office chairs because they would be more inclined to take care of what they have. Conversely I think fewer "beautiful" people getting their -------- modified, ----, pec or butt implants to boost their "self confidence" because they are comparing themselves to nakked porn stars or aging rock and movie stars who lost two shoes sizes from multiple face lifts

Conversely,

If being naked anywhere is allowed, women cant get angry when someone oogles them and gets an --------. After all, that's as natural as the woman being naked.
