Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Operators of two Taco Bells in upper Manhattan thought "outside the bun" by counterfeiting money and forcing underage workers to give fake $20 bills to customers as change, a lawsuit alleges. Annette Cirino is filing a class-action lawsuit in Manhattan federal court on behalf of her 17-year-old daughter, alleging the teen reported the allegations to cops after being "manipulated" into distributing funny money while working behind the counter at both restaurants. Her attorney described the fake cash as "terrible" copies slightly smaller than real $20 bills, adding they were likely produced on a laser-jet printer then run through a dryer to make them appear used.

"demanding $5 million in real money damages in the lawsuit"

The good folks at Taco Bell are ready to settle, out of court. They just printed $5 million more fake $20 bills, for the "distraught" young lady-victim. (the stupid lawyer forgot to ask for REAL money, in his demand.

Round up all your currency, ship it to me and I'll verify it's legitimacy. For a small fee of course and I'll get rid of the fake bills for you.

You may have stumbled on to a great idea. To reverse the "devaluation" of our money we take $5 bills, "wipe" the ink and make them $1 bills......saving the nation in the process. THETOM, I could use a man of your caliber.

Did any of this money turn up anywhere?
If not then its not true...............

If it did turn up at banks then they should be arrested and use her as a witness.

But what if she made it all up herself and printed the fake money so she could sue?

Who knows but I do now if they had really been giving out fake money it would turn up in a bank somewhere within the first week.
