Twenty-First Century Fox is ending its blockbuster bid to buy Time Warner. The about-face announced Tuesday comes three weeks after Time Warner revealed that it had rejected 21st Century Fox's unsolicited $76 billion buyout offer, which would have combined two of the world's biggest media companies. "Time Warner management and its board refused to engage with us to explore an offer which was highly compelling," Fox CEO Rupert Murdoch said.

When someone is driven to hoard cats or bottles of urine, we call them crazy.

When someone is driven to hoard wealth, we call them captains of industry.

Why does Murdoch always need MORE MORE MORE? He's old as dirt, richer than god - for him to continue to seek MORE is truly pathological.
