An American general was killed Tuesday after a shooter wearing an Afghan military uniform opened fire at a training facility in Kabul, U.S. officials told CNN's Jim Sciutto. At least 15 coalition troops, including other Americans, were wounded in the attack at Camp Qargha, Sciutto was told.

What happened to security in a war zone? We already know these guys cannot be trusted. Ever. No way one should ever get that close to a general with a loaded gun.

Not a lot to say on this one, except that thug dictators in that region of the world who keep their violence internal, seem to be the 'least bad' option.

All that matters is the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline. But whether we can protect it or not is another story.

I just hope Joe Biden doesn't refer to Afghanistan the way he did with Iraq.

I don't understand why they were even letting them put rounds in the chamber. Depending on where we were, we couldn't even put a mag in the weapon.
